Replacement packaging and desk was perfect.Original review below.5 day use update:36" deskPositives:-The lift works great so far.-The monitor and keyboard trays have adequate working space.-Holds/raises/lowers my 49" ultra wide samsung (~35 Ibs) just fine-It does what is advertised-It looks pretty good.Negatives:- TERRIBLE packaging. Some of the worst I've ever seen. The base unit and keyboard tray were in clear plastic bags, but none of the styrofoam stayed in place. There were a few rolled up sheets of bubble wrap which didn't do too much. It looked like I received a returned item. The desk and keyboard tray were banging into each other and everything just floating around loose in the box. One end of the box the foam had come off completely which appears to have caused damage to the edge corner of the desk top(see photo). It's really unbelievable that was the only damage. (desk top corner pictured).-The base top and keyboard tray are pretty thin. 1/2" maybe... I'm sure it helps on weight, but durability? not so sure. Time will tell. The material on top does not appear very durable and "appears" it would scratch easy(not testing that ;)).-The keyboard tray moves a bit too much for my liking. It's not terrible though. This could be caused by the easy on/off mechanism. That's a nice feature!!, but it could be the reason the keyboard wobbles a bit more than if bolted to the frame. Understandable.Ergonomic Observation:I'm 5'10" and the maxed out standing height is great for me.My main desk (floor to desktop) is 28.5" high.From the top of my desk to the highest keyboard tray height is an additional 14.5"Total floor to keyboard tray (max height) is ~43"The keyboard tray lands on the desk(actually it touches first). There is a sharp edge to the keyboard tray that might dig into the heel of you hand... But I push the keyboard inward more so i don't really feel that. I also have a memory foam palm/wrist rest that works well in the sitting position.Value:This would be a 4.5 star if it weren't for the packaging/damage.I feel for the $179 I paid, I got what I paid for material and function wise.Would I like to see better wood/lamination, yes. But $179 for a motorized desk lift, it's hard to complain too much. As a comparison, my workplace just bought some very nice desk risers(don't know the mfg), but they were ~$900 and not motorized!!... I hope this lasts a few years. If it does, this is a good value.Should you buy?With the horrible packaging, I think the user experience could be a coin toss.If you get good packaging and soft handling delivery service, yes! it's worth it.I'm keeping mine. Thankfully the damage was minimal and on the back side of the monitor tray.

Got it set up finally and I absolutely love it. This motorized desk is a game changer for a great commuting experience - standing or sitting. The motor is quiet, the desk is solid, the price is a huge value.I also want to give kudos to the seller and Amazon. My original order arrived damaged. I sent it back, Amazon sent me my replacement that arrived sooner than the original order and now I have my new office setup! Thank you for making the experience as best as possible.

This is my first standing desk and I wonder how my back has survived without one. I work 12 hour shifts and got tired of always sitting. After reading many reviews, I selected the FLEXISPOT 40 inch electric height adjustable standing desk and am very pleased. The only thing I wish it had was a memory height selection. Other than that, it gives plenty of room for two 27 inch monitors and the keyboard shelf has enough room for the keyboard, large mouse pad, and my cell phone. The electric motor is quiet and the desk raises and lowers smoothly. Amazingly, the desk is very sturdy when raised and doesn’t shake around when typing on the keyboard or using the mouse, which was a large concern of mine when considering a standing desk. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this product!

Sturdy and so easy to adjust by pressing the buttons. Perfect as a standing desk for my Mac Display. Well made and looks sleek and professional.

I like this electric standing desk converter. Its foot print is not overly large, the finish is easy to clean, the electric motor is really quiet and worth it, and it is pretty sturdy even in the up position. I have not noticed any real "wobbly" moments. Although the keyboard tray is not perfectly still when the unit is raised it has enough heft to stay pretty stable when/if I type in the standing position. If I had to place a percentage of stability in that regard, I would say 85% stable when up. In the down position it is awesome. For less than $200, it is pretty darn good.

Purchased this riser for my office desk. I had one previously that was not electric. It became impossible to use so I got this as a replacement. It has been a night and day difference! So happy with this riser. It was easy to assemble by myself. The buttons and motor work perfectly. And it goes high enough to get my monitors exactly where they are comfortable for me. I have had it a few months and not any problems. There is plenty of room for 2 monitors. I like the positioning of the keyboard surface. It has been very comfortable for me. And there is plenty of other space to set my phone, coffee mug, and note pad.
