Rear View Mirror Back Plate Panel + Mirror Dash Cam Mount Arm for Car DVR Instead of Strap

This item is well made and was easy to install and use in a 2004 Scion.The main reason I'm writing this review is to help others who want to use this with an AZDOME PG17 mirror. The bolt pattern on this back plate does not match the AZDOME mirror, HOWEVER:- The hole providing a pass-through for the mirror reset function is in the correct location- I was able to drill four 1/16" holes to match the locations on the back of the mirror and I'm successfully using this bracket with the AZDOME.This will hopefully help others looking to mount the AZDOME "natively" without strapping it directly to an existing rear-view mirror.

This is not made for the wolfbox, but I used it for it anyway. It works great. The actual mount fits perfectly on my rear view mirror base. My wolfbox uses straps to mount not screws. Had to use little spacer in between to widen for strap to hold.

Took a risk getting this since I was not a 100% this would fit but it worked great for my 10" TOGUARD Mirror Dual Dash Cam Mirror! I was able to remove the stands and those stupid rubber straps off the mirror and the 4 holes lined up on the back of this mount. I was worried that the mount itself would not fit the stock mounting plate on the windshield but it slide right on for my 2018 4runner. So they are probably semi-universal. Now I dont have to mount it on top of the OEM Mirror. Not sure why they dont just sell these mounts with these camera mirrors...Maybe they do now but either way, this worked.Overall I am happy....Id give it 5 stars if they stocked this in the US, which seems like no one does, that way it could come on prime shipping. Instead I ordered it on 8/10 and it arrived on 8/25 from China to the NorthEast US in a small padded envelope with it bubble wrapped inside...I think I got a little lucky with it fitting and arriving safe. YMMV but I recommend.

Got this mount because it says it will fit a 10 inch rearview camera mirror. The 4 holes (no screws supplied) does not line up with the back of my camera mirror. Tried to return it and it says over $5 for return fee when it clearly says refund or replacement within 30 days. Amazon shouldn't even allow vendors like this because if it happens again, I'll start shopping on other sites instead.

Needed a solution for mounting the 10.36" touchscreen monitor that came with the Voonoa 4K Backup Camera system also purchased on Amazon. The mirror mount replaced the existing mount perfectly as well provides a very stiff position holding the weight of the monitor. The mount came with four screws that matched perfectly to the back of the monitor also. Its nice having the monitor up off the dash and high where the rear view mirror would normally go. Plus, no worry of a suction cup failure in hot climates!

Be careful how you apply this. Have some sandpaper and acetone handy, sand and clean the windshield surface where the metal piece will glue onto thoroughly and wait for the acetone to evaporate before applying the adhesive. Make sure there is no dust or grime (from your fingers) at the surface. It has to be incredibly clean for the adhesive to work properly. If you apply it properly it will form a permanent bond that only a screwdriver and a lot of work can remove.Please, do not buy "suction cup" based ones. Those are a waste of money, do it once and do it right.

Fit my dashcam mirror perfectly, and slots onto the windshield mounting plate of my Toyota just fine. Finally was able to get rid of all the bulk of having one mirror strapped to another.Only complaint is that it's got just a little too much wiggle room on the mounting plate, and jiggles a little bit, even with the secure screw turned all the way in. I wedged a little rubber pad in there and that solved the issue just fine.Overall, pleased with the outcome.

The faceplate is made of plastic. I was not expecting that nor do I like that it is plastic. But I’m sure it will hold up just the same. The mount is sturdy but quite large. Should hold just fine also.
