I have now bought two of these. They are perfect I have one in a window and one in a sliding glass door. They are easy to adjust and really solid!

Bigger than I thought..I bought so I could keep window from opening and it works but I had to squeeze it up in there

It looks fairly simple to install to a window that opens vertically (up/down), right? Well, that’s because it’s NOT secure. Waste of $. I was going to return but Amazon credited my account and advise me to keep this item. Guess they knew it doesn’t work! I put in the recycling bin instead since it’s not useable.

Use these for my patio window, very sturdy!

In concept, this is great, but the reality is this product is very poorly made. If you want something that is going to give you piece of mind, this is not it. I bought it to install in a vertical sliding window, and it doesn’t do its job. If I were to put it in the window (which is impossible with the sticky Velcro they included) and giggle the window up and down a few times, the triangular pin that holds it in place would slip back inside, allowing the window to be opened all the way. Not well made at all. SorryUpdate** The product didn’t work for my needs, but the customer service was great! The seller was very accommodating and did all they could to make the situation better for me. I really appreciate that!

this was described and was just as easy to install and set up.

Very easy to install behind my window, so my window will only open enough to get a good breeze of air through daily. It took less than 2 minutes to install after taking it out of the box. I was so happy with the product that I bought one for my patio door. I have tested both areas to see if I could break into my apartment and I am all good unless a stranger comes with a brick to break the glass.
