COFIT Ventilated Seat Cushion with USB Port, Breathable Air Flow Cooling Pad for Summer, Suitable for All Car Seats, Home and Office Chairs

I bought this because my vehicle seats aren’t air conditioned, and my back always sticks with sweat when I drive. Instead of sitting on this, though, I use it like a lumbar back cushion, and it’s actually comfortable and cools off my back almost instantly on the highest setting. I think it probably works more effectively this way than as a seat bottom, but this worked so well that I might get a second one to sit on, making an affordable, entirely air conditioned seat!

I don't know how anyone could sit on this thing without it breaking so i was going to sit it behind my back for air flow. The "padding" is very minimal and the frame itself is made from very thin and flimsy plastic. It worked fine as the "fan blades" turned but I could not feel any air flow at all. I didn't even bother with trying to return it. It's packed back in the box.

For $28, it does what I need it to do. I can't sit on it all day, it's too uncomfortable, but it works good enough for half an hour or so a couple times a day.Pros:- Actually does blow cool air where you're sitting on it which is the primary purpose.Cons:- Uncomfortable. Essentially sitting on plastic.- Fans are a little loud, but not obnoxious.

It's been over 80F for the past couple weeks and my place doesn't have AC. I use fans at my desk, but inevitably still end up with a sweaty butt since the airflow can't get under the chair. After getting fed up with this, I took to Amazon to see if someone had gotten the idea to make a butt cooler of some sort. I was not disappointed.Strangely enough, it actually works quite well. Combined with the fan, I don't think I even sweat down there anymore. When I hold my hand over the cushion, I can't really feel any airflow except at the very back, but somehow it has been highly effective so I won't question it.Only improvements I'd like to see on it are to be a bit more comfortable to sit on, and making it quieter. The fans are VERY loud if you are not sitting on it. Once you sit down it becomes much quieter.Overall, surprisingly effective seat cooler. Using it together with some noise cancelling headphones, I'm quite happy.Edit:Recently, I accidentally broke off the soldered joint for the wires that connected to the PCB for the on/off switch. That was my fault, as I did put it under a lot of tension whenever I moved the chair around. So I had to spend a couple days without my beloved butt cooler while ordering some more solder so I could fix it. The difference was huge without it, and to say the least, I was miserable during that time. The cooling is really effective.

I bought this because im in a wheelchair and sitting all day long can get a bit sweaty and i can start to smell like sweaty butt.Ive been thinking of ways to cool my seat as we've had hotter than usual weather and i just found this! I hope it helps keep me cool when i go camping.Its by far the best thing ever and with it being usb, i can use a power bank or plug it directly into my wheelchair. It sits on top of my seat perfectly. I hope it holds up!A lot of people are saying its uncomfortable, but i dont think so, but then again i do have a booty so its got extra cushion 😂 its not too big, its just right in thickness and feels stable and sturdy.

So, working from home I have a decent leather chair in my home office. It's comfortable but HOT. I have ventilated seats in my car and was looking to find something similar for my desk chair. Found this in a quick search and have been EXTREMELY impressed. It's comfortable and the fans work quite well. Not sure how long it will last (I'm hard on chairs) but very impressed so far!

There is hardly any air coming out of the motor and the rough mesh is not comfortable for anyone wearing shorts. Not a good design.

I recently purchased this seat cushion and let me tell you, it has been the biggest disappointment of my life! Before, I thought a ventilated seat cushion would be the perfect solution to my sweaty butt problem. But boy, was I wrong.The worst part is, the ventilation holes are so small that they barely let any air through. I can't even feel a difference when I sit on the cushion compared to sitting on a regular cushion. It's like they're not even there.Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with my purchase. This ventilated seat cushion is a complete waste of money and does nothing to solve the problem it claims to address. I would not recommend it to anyone. Somebody PLEASE design something like this that has some real airflow!
