I bought these mattress covers to use on our youngest son's bed. We have tried various mattress protectors over the years with different degrees of success. For our purposes we were looking for a cover that would fit snugly, not have a crinkly plastic feel or sound, wash & dry easily, and was affordable. This product more than exceeded our expectations.Pros:- There is elastic all the way around the cover so that it fits the mattress snugly on all sides.- There isn't a thick vinyl layer with this cover so it is soft & quiet while still protecting the mattress.- I can wash this cover in hot or cold water and tumble dry on low.- The price was perfect for our budget.Cons:(As of now, I have not found any. However, I plan to update this review if that changes.)I am so pleased with this product. We also bought two in the twin mattress size for our older child. I plan to get more of these as our budget allows. I just wish we had found these sooner! I would recommend these covers to anyone looking to protect their mattresses with a product that is soft and also affordable.

While only using this protector for a short time, thus far I am very pleased with it. I have read complaints that the inner liner makes noise when you are sleeping on it. I have found that this can be true but only under certain conditions which I will address below. Overall I find this an excellent product and would most certainly and probably will purchase again.First of all I would like to note that following the instructions given with an item are important. Many people tend to just ignore instructions then complain because the product didn't perform as they expected. There is really only one thing that it is recommend before using this item, WASH BEFORE USING, AIR DRY! Follow the washing instructions as given and I think you will be better satisfied with this product.First of all, washing removed the odor given off by the materials as there was a complaint about. Secondly, it softens the materials.When I first removed the protector it was smooth but slightly stiff. When I opened the protector I could hear the sound that some complained of. Following the instructions given, I washed the protector and air dried it. It came out soft and smooth. I then put it on my bed. I noticed as I positioned it on the mattress that once again I would on occasion hear the noise of the layers of materials rubbing together, however once properly fitted to the mattress there was no noise beyond that of a normal mattress pad.I put the sheets and blanket on and went to bed. I am used to using a filled protector so the bed felt a little stiffer, no fault of this protector. Only once did I hear a sound and that was when I pulled my body across the mattress causing the protector to bunch up. After using the protector for a few days it didn't even make noise when it bunched up, indicating that the mattress protector was getting softer with use.While I like the filled protectors, I am tired of having the pad filling outside the protector after washing and ending up with a clean piece of trash. If you still want to use a filled pad, would be to install it under this protector, thus keeping it clean and only having to wash the protector.I believe that if you follow the instructions, you will be as pleased with this product as I am. I have not been paid nor was I given any discount for this review.

I purchased this hypoallergenic mattress protector along with the Sky Bedding Premium Pillow Protector. I'm glad I did! They are both very well made with a silky, smooth feel. The mattress cover has nice deep pockets so it will fit a thick mattress. I like the fact that they both protect against dust mites and they are waterproof. This mattress pad feels nice to lay on. With it being waterproof you may be worried about it feeling like you are sleeping on plastic, but it doesn't at all. I am pleased with my purchase! Thank you Sky Bedding for a great product!!

If you have animals, and an expensive mattress, you need this. One day, your cat may feel vindictive that you have gone on vacation, or perhaps your dog will grow old and lose bladder control. Do you really want pee soaked into your mattress? No. This pad saved my bed from the wrath of my cat, on several occasions. I can’t give her an attitude adjustment, but I can arm myself with a good matress cover.

I have purchased many mattress covers over the years due to have a rental properties. I am so happy I have found the best one ever. No need to look any more. This is the one. I will never buy another brand. EVER. It fits the bed perfectly. It is smooth to touch no more crinkly sound. I can wipe it down to sanitize it before each guests arrives. I just love it. Great product. No noise and has very long sides to stay in place. I have a 4 inch topper and this cover holds everything perfectly in place nicely. The waterproofing is done right. Its thin, no noise when moving, and covers the top of the bed corner to corner. Very happy about this purchase, ordered one for my kids room too.

This mattress protector is THE ONE to get. Our twin toddlers have jumped on, drooled on & vomited, spilled all types of beverages and leaked through their diapers on our bed. My husband also sweats a lot. There is not one stain or any trace of trapped odor on our expensive Tempur-Pedic mattress. And, after all the tumbling and jumping from the kids and a few machine washes, there are no tears, holes, stretching or other defects. I'll definitely be looking to see if there are pillow protectors and toddler bed sized or twin sized mattress protectors.

I have a pillow top King size bed and this fits great! I got a new puppy and was worried he might have an accident on the bed so I bought this and put it under all the covers and sheets. I could hardly even tell it was there The sheets made a little more noise the first few nights but after that I did not even notice. I ended up leaving it on as i cant tell it's there and provides some great extra protection for the mattress. Highly recommend this product.
