Q: is it sharp and how long is the it?

Not sharp at all. Probably could sharpen it, but I think it's just for show. With the sheath it's 7" long, the blade is about 3.5" long.

Q: Is there a gem on this? if so what color is it?

There is no gem, it's an obvious copy made with inexpensive materials.

Q: Can i have my family crest put on it, will you do that?

It would be tight. Perhaps a small one on the sheath.
