Small but loud
For personal use or beginners is pretty loud. Sounds good in small places.

Nice adjustable sound
This amp is perfect for my son’s needs. He’s starting to play with the church’s band and this amp is not too heavy to handle. Sound is clear and you can adjust it to your liking, and you can also connect a mic and the volume knob for it is separate. Great deal for such a versatile amp!

Good practice amp.
I bought this amp to replace my 1997 Crate gtx15 practice amp. I wasn't expecting it to be much louder or to arrive in one piece, from all the bad reviews and having bought a refurbished model. The box was beat up, but the amp was ok, looked like it was just an amp someone returned. It is lighter than my gtx15 and the build quality is ok. Definitely would not sit on it, as it's not as sturdy as my gtx15. The plastic knobs are crooked, but not the potentiometers. An easy fix, if something like that bothers you. It's a little louder than a 15w, clean. The on board distortion isn't very loud on the highest setting. It's pretty punchy on the low end and could possibly be used as "overdrive". The delay / reverb can't be turned off completely and can still be slightly heard at the lowest setting (0). Not a problem for me, since I use these effects. The effects don't work on the mic channel, as I expected. It is brighter than my other amps and only had to crank the treble halfway, instead of full, like I usually do. I played a strat, a lp custom, an acoustic and even a bass on this amp and they all sounded good, as they should, just not enough bass response. The bass guitar sounded like a bass being played on guitar practice amp, no surprise there. Always good if you only want one small amp for practice. Definitely not worth the hundred or so dollhairs that it sells for new, on its own. I'm glad I only plopped down 58 bucks for the refurbished teal model. It says its green, as in seafoam green, but it's more teal or turquoise in color. It is loud, if you happen to own and use distortion, overdrive or amp modeling pedals. It definitely sounds like a 40w amp and has better bass response with distortion and modeling pedals. I would have given this amp five stars, if it was less expensive and had better and more onboard effects (like the gtx15) and if it was louder out of the box. I would recommend this as a practice amp or starter amp, if you can find it for less. It could even be used for garage jam sessions or small gigs, if you already have effect pedals.

Love it!
Love it! Great little amp! I have it set up on an end table beside the sofa with a Kmise Crunch Distortion pedal and a VSN Looper Chorus Reverb Delay Tuner pedal and a wireless guitar transmitter--I absolutely love this combination... Thanks and God bless! 🥰😺

Nice beginner practice amp - but......
Picked this up to go along with a Squire Affinity Starcaster I'm attempting to learn. Arrived promptly, as described, no issues with order or delivery. It's pretty, convenient, and priced right for a beginner. The volume, tone and "drive" controls work as expected. I haven't tried anything with the "AUX-IN" jack, but the input and headphone ports work as advertised. But there's always a "but" isn't there? In this case, there's two. First - advertised and marked as a 20 watt device. You might think that a budget 20 watt amplifier would move more air and be louder than a budget 10 watt amp. At least in this case, you would be wrong. With both the Starcaster volume and this amp cranked to max - it's barely audible outside the 12x12 home office where I practice if I close the door. I plugged the same guitar into a borrowed cheap 10 watt BCP amp - and it will rattle the doors across the hall! Wife and kids don't mind the lower volume - but I expected more. Also noticed a bit of the "hum" from un-grounded plug others mentioned. Minus 1 Star. Secondly and more importantly - I've had this amp out of the box for less than two weeks. While it's pretty, the finish is basically some sort of stick-on wallpaper like material. Which is already starting to peel off around the rear opening where power cable is stored when not in use (see photos). This is totally unacceptable, and I will address with seller. Minus 2 stars. UPDATE: seems this was "Fulfilled by Amazon" so Amazon is the seller. Option were to return for direct replacement, or return for credit. Decided to return for credit, and get something similar with a grounded plug and less "wallpaper" finish.

Needed to return because of 110 volts power, cannot use directly here in UAE because we have 220 volts here. And please put in the items description also the volts of the amplifier so there is no waste of time to the customer and from the amazon service worker.

Tengo un Marshall grande y no le pide nada, es Amazon si te llega quebrada te la reemplazan. Se ve de una calidad muy decente, el sonido es bueno, no entiendo porque tan malas reseñas

Perfect for kids or just learning.

Sound quality is what I would expect. Using as a practice amp. Has more than enough power to be heard, and is quite adjustable. NOTE: This is not a professional amp, if that’s what your expecting or looking for than I suggest carry on. This is more than suitable for volume while practicing/jamming. The tone is good enough for that

It suddenly started smoking and lost power the first time I plugged it in . Not nice waste of money!
