These worked beautifully, and I was super excited to use them on the top of a pie crust where I punched out the leaves and then I replaced them on the piecrust for decoration, leaving the holes from where I punched them out as vent. I used these to cut out decorations on a Thanksgiving pie. These do cut nicely on pie dough. The plunger makes it easy to eject the dough! These cutters were easy to clean with soap and water. I love them! The shapes are cute too. I used the apple, and acorn shapes for decorating my pie top. I'll try cookie dough next. Love them!

I always wondered how bakers got those cool pastry “leaves” and stuff to place on top of their pie crusts. These work great, even for a rookie like me! Guests always ask how I did them and I always admit how easy it is.
