XDJ-700 Compact Digital Player

Pros, Starts up fast, (On and playing within ten seconds) Large, Responsive touch screen. Links with up to three other CDJ/XDJ's with included ethernet cable (to share files and sync beats.) Solid Build Quality Slip mode and loop roll (Lots of fun) QWERTY Search Keyboard. (Not found on older CDJ's) Easy to use, fast interface Cons, (all minor complaints) Putting a thousand songs on a flash drive with rekordbox takes eons on a USB 2.0 drive, and still takes about 20 minutes on USB 3.0 No Serato Compatibility. Uses an external power supply instead of a standard IEC Cable (unlike the larger XDJ/CDJ's), so you have to carry around a propietary power brick. No Hot Cue buttons, hot cues can only be triggered from the screen.

I was so impressed with the small size , compared to the big brother CDJs this is so compact and the touch screen works and we'll. If you don't see many buttons on the system, that's because they put them in the touch screen . Rev, Slipmode, etc. Paried it with the pioneer 250 mixer, perfect combo.

I have to say I'm impressed with this little cd player, it almost has everything the XDJ 1000 model offer but obviously in smaller version, however there are a few things to consider when purchasing: This model is not compatible in HID mode with Traktor or Serato Scratch, is missing the some of the fisical features from the bigger versions but you can have acces to them in the touch screen !!

these are awesome. I think so and I recently had a world famous DJ spin on them at my event and he said he was going to pick up a pair too.

I was a little surprised there wasn't a FRAGILE sticker on a $700 electronics item but it came a day early so giving 4 stars.
