Soak in a dish washing pan or 5 gallon bucket with hot soapy water before attempting to scrub
The Napoleon basket was sold out and I refused to pay scalper prices for it, so I rolled the dice on this thing before there were any reviews and man I'm glad I did! Sure it's a little bit of a pain in the butt to clean, but a good soaking makes it way easier. That's not nearly enough to offset how good wings come out in this thing though. I put 18-20 whole wings in at 400° for an hour on the Big Joe III/Joetisserie set up for an hour and they are crispy on the outside while the meat comes right off of the bone. The clasps work great and even after a few cooks and clean ups still function like new. Don't hesitate to purchase. I just received a Napoleon 6400 basket today and am trying a seasoning method to help with the clean up for both baskets by coating them with grapeseed oil using bbq silicone basting brush, then putting in the oven at 400° for one hour. Both of these baskets are made well and I'll be trying both to see which does better with different foods. Not having tried the Napoleon one yeti, I do like the clasps on this unit more and for that reason would say that this one may have a slight advantage between the two.

If your grill has a rotisserie, you'll want this mesh basket for veggies and more
There are probably as many grill gadgets out there as there are golf gadgets, and their utility varies, but this rotisserie basket is a great addition to your grill.I've mostly used it for shishito pepper grilling so far, with excellent results. A couple of key features of this basket highlight its superior design -- (1) an expanded mesh (vs a wire cage such as https://www.amazon.com/Onlyfire-17-inch-Stainless-Tumble-Rotisserie/dp/B07BWBJZ92) virtually eliminates loss of food out of the basket during the cook, and (2) some integrated paddles mix up the contents as it rotates for a more uniform browning process. The basket is fairly versatile and I plan on grilling some burnt ends in it soon.

Works well
The basket does exactly what I expected. It is sturdy enough that I do not worry about the food falling onto the grates.

Roll One Up!
The media could not be loaded. I've been selectively buying a few accessories to "hotrod" my 2-burner Weber Spirit gas grill. I normally do long cooks/smoking on a kamado or my Pit Barrel Cooker, but I want the convenience of the gas grill for weeknight cooking. Since I already had a rotisserie, this basket looked like something I needed to add.My first go were these chicken legs, which I seasoned and tossed in the basket and got 'em rumblin' and tumblin'. I liked the simple, removable hinged area and latches, and they seem like they'll provide long service. I set the burners as low as they would go, and removed the grill grates for clearance. I also filled and lit a smoke tube with apple wood pellets and set it inside to give some smoky flavor to the legs. For full disclosure, there were a few beers consumed during the cook, but total time was about 1-1/2 hours on low. I had 8 legs (Spider Man), and the basket would accommodate around 12 without a problem. I really liked the built in paddles, which kept agitating the meat, but with the low rotisserie RPM, didn't beat my meat too hard. There was next to no juice drippage, since they basically self-basted.The legs turned out beautifully, with uniformly crispy skin, smoky flavor and nicely moist. My wife said they may be the best she's ever had, which is a mighty bold statement.Clean up was straightforward and simple. I used another reviewer's idea, and dropped the basket halves into a 5 gallon hardware store bucket filled with hot soapy water for awhile. I flipped them end to end part way through, since they are longer than the bucket is deep. No biggie. I did a final scrub with a dish washing brush in the sink and the residue came off quickly.Next up will be wings, maybe pork belly chunks for burnt ends, and pieces of sausage and peppers. This fall, I'm going to roast poblano and New Mexican peppers like you see at grocery stores in the SW. This was a great purchase!

Great for wings
Was worried about cleaning, but submerged it in an extra tall bucket of hot soapy water overnight and was able to brush it clean with a plastic kitchen brush with minimum effort.

Hard To Clean
It works great but when I did wings it was tough to clean. I did spray it with Pam but it's still hard to clean. Not sure if I would buy this again b/c how hard it is to clean.

Works as expected
Quality is as expected and works well. One set screw for basket was missing which is an annoyance.

EASY!!! AWESOME!!!
My wife and I have a substantial garden full of tomatoes, and varieties of peppers. We were struggling to always make sure that all are vegetables are always used or preserved. I purchased this roaster a week ago and roasted our first batch or peppers. Jalapenos and Anaheims and Garlic. I cranked up my bbq on full blast, loaded the basket nearly 3/4 full and started the rotisserie. 15 minutes later our peppers were roasted PERFECTLY!!! They peeled like a dream and went straight into the freezer. Ezzy pezzy done, cleanup a breeze. Highly recommend this roasting basket.
