Russian Red Garlic, (3 Garlic Bulbs) Big Bulbs, Slightly Purple

Planted in September expecting a bumper crop in the spring. Those suckers popped up already; small but taste good

Just planted for next year's crop. So far so good. Hope they grow as big as cloves I planted.

There was no red or purple and no five to six, or even six to eight large cloves. There were fifteen to eighteen small to medium cloves. Many of those were soft and mushy. I’m wondering if they were even Red Russians at all. We’ll see if any even grow at all. Ordering from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, is much safer and you get what you order, in perfect condition but you have to order at the beginning of the year, to get what you want. I forgot and ordered these.

I’m happy they’re already starting to sprout, but they didn’t send big ones, I was expecting them to be atleast medium or large in size, they were pretty small. But still great, we’ll see how they turn out in 9 months lol

The bulbs came in moldy and bad. Very disappointed. I love growing garlic and I really wanted to try this one. We will see what the company does to make this right.

I bought this to plant some and use some and it worked out well in both cases now I have garlic growing
