I used the slave flash on a camera with no hot sho. It provided the extra light needed to take a better picture with the flash on the camera.

This didn't connect and work well with my camera. The batteries were drained rather quickly and the light burst wasn't consistent. I am a little disappointed.

An inexpensive slave flash that seems to work 100% of the time. Damn what's not to like.

Bought to use as a portable, simple flash for vintage hotshoe-compatible cameras. Works well!

Pay the extra money for a much better quality product!! This product came included with a camera I bought. As an electrical engineer, the first thing that caught my attention was that the battery case was set up incorrectly! Knowing that the batteries were set up wrong, I turned it on anyways and the device got very warm, but it still worked. Did not work with my camera at all though. Started noticing a funny smell coming out of the device, which I blame from the device getting very hot from the incorrect battery setup. Took it off my camera and threw it away. DO NOT BUY!!! Cheap, Chinese product with no engineering thought to it whatsoever...

Very fast recycle time, nice additional lighting for the camera flash. There is a slave mode switch and a mode select switch, a test button and an on/off switch. No information about the slave mode 3 position switch nor defining the normal or slave position. Instruction sheet is written in poor English and can be difficult to understand what is being presented. Quality of the switches is poor. I just have to experiment with the switch positions to see what happens.
