Just the right size, very rugged and highly waterproof. I use several of these in a 120-volt cable run to an outdoor water garden with lots of weather exposure, with no problems at all.

Worked great to connect Sonance outdoor speakers. I used 14-4 speaker wire and ran the line from the last speaker to a Sonos amp. Before installing I put each box on the line and placed in close proximity of each speaker location, then used a cable jacket removal tool to remove the jacket within the box, then just spliced either the left or right channel cable and used wago 3-way connectors to connect the speaker, closed and screw down the junction box cover and moved onto the next. Took a day to splice and install 6 outdoor speakers and a subwoofer. Going to take another day to get everything buried. Doing it this way greatly reduced the number of splices needed to connect the speakers thus reducing the possibility of issues down the road. I purchased multiple types of these boxes to see what would work best and this one was vastly better than all the others in terms of quality (thickness of box, seals, etc.).

Overall very good. The only issue I see is the hinge. The way hinge is set,if you over tighten the screws, it will gap along the back edge.

Perfect for easy install

I like it and used it to splice an underwater water feature power feed. Easy and plenty of room with the removable terminal strip. Priced right as well.

Just what I needed!

So far this box has kept my connections waterproof. It's been out in the snow and rain. Curious to see how it will do during the summer heavy thunderstorms.
