Clamp Plier CV Boot Clamp Plier Carbon Steel Ear-Type for All Earless Type CVJ Boot Clamps

These pliers are a game changer. We bought a used car back in August and the CV gaiters needed replaced due to them both being torn, one of the joints was almost dry. As we were in a hurry, we thought it would be quicker to pop it in a local garage. The put new gaiters on and used regular cable ties to secure them, the ties didn’t even last the week. We popped the car back up to them and they replaced the cable ties with metal cable ties, and they didn’t last either. My partner bought the proper clips online for less than £5 and used these pliers to secure the clips after yet again packing more grease into the gaiters. The pliers made it very quick and easy to do and the clips are on properly at last. They are comfortable to hold and they are robust, very impressed with them. Much better doing it yourself, if you want it done properly.

The tool is not strong enaught. It bent during first use and I couldn`t complete the job. Waste of money.
