There are many different strategies to make money in real estate. Some are long term with the intention of creating cash flow and others, as demonstrated in this book, are short term. The strategy in this book is simple: buy cheap, add value through renovation, resell at profit, and do it again. Those who are starting out will find this method more beneficial because it does not tie up capital like buy-and-hold strategy does. This is a good way to make money quickly; later on, a transition to a more long-term strategy may be more beneficial. I would also recommend his other books such as The Complete Guide to Investing in Rental Properties and The Complete Guide to Buying and Selling Apartments.
