Compact and attractive!
I just got the fixture and installed it in my 40 gallon tank. It does not come with bulbs, so I ordered those at the same time. Bubba my bearded dragon already likes it! One criticism is there are no clear instructions or illustration to show you how to mount it or I would give 5 stars. It comes with screws, a tiny screw driver and zip ties. I am guessing the screws are for a tank I don't have, so I just pushed the zip ties through the top screen and attached it that way. I got this fixture because I read and saw many videos recommending not using UVB coil bulbs in domes and that the tank needs UVB all the way across. Supposedly coil bulbs might not provide enough UVB and lead to MBD. I also got it because I accidentally knocked the domes I have on the floor, and the bulbs broke. Now it's neat safe inside the tank as it should be. The tank is well lit now. I recommend it.UPDATE NOV 18, 2020I have uploaded a picture of Bubba the beardie 3 1/2 months after purchasing this fixture. I am super pleased, and it all still works great. I spoil my boy and buy him the best. As you can see in the second picture, he is a very healthy lizard. No sign of metabolic bone disease or illness, and he has thrived. I believe the fixture provides just the right distance and heat as required and attribute it to my little man's excellent health. I am not sure why other people complain about this fixture. It is light, compact, and recedes visually. Some people say you have to buy the bulbs from Carolina Cages, which is not correct. I bought my bulbs separately. Depending on your cage, you must consider before purchasing if it will attach in some way. Another viewer says the fixture fell apart and did not light...I do not see how that is possible unless you forcefully rip it apart. I decided to add to my past review to show you how well my beardie is doing now.

Perfect fixture!!
Love this fixture, it's so well made. I have it on the Carolina Customs large 36x18x18 so I purchased Carolina Custom Cages Reptile 22" T5HO UVB + Single GU10 Basking Light fixture. There's different sizes for all of their terrariums.I love the fact that it's all in one. You mount it rite to the inside of the screen. It's simple do and you don't have dome's sitting on the top of your terrarium, it looks so messy. I used wire, there's a hole at each end of the fixture, I positioned it where I wanted it and just fed the wire thru the screen in the cover, twisted the wire tightly and snipped off the ends. It doesn't come with bulbs, I used the bulbs that CC suggest. the basking bulb is the Carolina Custom Cages 75w GU10 Halogen Reptile Basking Bulb. The UBV is the Carolina Custom Cages Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB T5HO 22 Reptile Lighting Fluorescent Tube. Really good quality product!!

A must have for your tortoise! Amazing!
This fixture is absolutely amazing! I have a 36"x18" terrarium for my 7 month old sulcata tortoise. When I adopted him this past fall I immediately bought a Zoo Med Deep Dual Dome fixture. I thought it was fine, but all in all it is very bulky, not attractive, and the light is not widely dispersed. I was beginning to feel like my little guy wasn't getting the "sunlight" he needed from it. I am so happy I gave in and purchased this fixture. I zip-tied it to the terrarium lid last night and WOW! It is hidden, sleek, and gives off light throughout the tank - and I can already see a huge difference in my little man's mood. This fixture and the lights (not included) are worth every penny! I am one very satisfied tortoise mom!

Love this setup for my dragon cages.
I bought this set up for my dragon cage because I wanted them to have the best. This is easy to install as well. My metal mesh top holes are too small for the screws and zip ties so I drilled them out a little where I'd be installing the light. I ended up on the second cage buying an Arcadia light system (which had to buy the basking light and holder separate) and though Arcadia is supposed to be the best, they don't give the option for a glass tank its more just for a wooden tank. I carefully had to drill holes into the top of the base of the light fixture and then drill the mesh and then hang it and the Arcadia hangs lower which I do not prefer. As well the basking light hangs too low since I had to buy the fixture for it which was from Arcadia as well, so I had to keep changing bulbs because it was too hot since it was so low. Wish I would have just bought another one of these and if something happens to the other one I'll definitely opt for Carolina Customs version as it is much more glass tank friendly,.

Best light fixture I've seen
I really like this fixture. it has a sleek, low profile design. We wanted our bearded dragon enclosure to have a professional, exhibit quality appearance. I did not like the cluttered look of lighting domes sitting on top of the cage. This fit the bill perfectly. I also like the fact it mounts inside the cage to maximize UVB rays and heating transmitted into the habitat.

Good, but not sufficient for 40G + terrarium
It's a very clean setup and it sits inside the terrarium. Very easy to setup. Only thing is, single bulb is not enough to heat the inside past 90 degrees on a good day. So if you terrarium is bigger than 40G get dual bulb. Overall it's quite a bit overpriced for what it is. But if you are too lazy to fabricate something similar on your own, I guess it's worth the $$

Great Lighting Option
I use this for all of my reptiles as it helps save space with multiple enclosures on a single shelving unit. This is the only product I've found that gives you the option for both UVB and a basking lamp in a single piece. My only complaint is that the mounting method could use some improvements, especially for something costs $70+. I use metal wire to keep it in place.
