So much FUN!!!!
This serpent toy was a blast! We rented out an indoor pool for my daughter's birthday (winter time). This was a HUGE hit with everyone. The kids had so much fun trying not to fall off. I am not sure why so many people gave this product negative reviews because their kids or grand-kids could not stay on it...That's the point! This serpent is curly and spins around like a corkscrew. The littler kids (5 and under) struggled a little bit, but had fun if an adult was around to stabilize it long enough for them to crawl on then fall off. The older kids had so much fun I cannot emphasize that enough.I did not have any trouble with it leaking and it was played with for 2 hours by 20 different kids ages 2 - 13, plus the adults that were in the pool. Mine did come with a patch just in case, just as every other inflatable toy made of this plastic material. I do recommend using a bike pump to inflate it because it is a huge pain and time consuming endeavor to blow this up without one (we forgot ours, and had to).We ended up donating this to the pool for the parties that they host their, and they were happy to have it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Defective
This had a hole in it when we bought it. Unfortunately we didn't blow it up and test it when we bought it, we just assumed it would be fine. When we did go to use it, we blew it up and put it on our pool (it looked super cool) but in less than an hour it was flat. Again, unfortunately we where past the time we could return it so we're stuck with a defective serpent. Total waste of money.

Float Night Score!
I liked the first one so much I bought 2, so I would not have to negotiate a peace treaty between my girls, who are now 7 and 10 y.o. The floats were a complete hit at our pool's float night. It is giant. Three people easily fit onto the float, like the picture shows. There is some trial-and-error involved in learning how to board the float...but isn't physical effort a good thing? When inflating the float, you have to twist it a bit until you figure out how to get that cool corkscrew, but it's very do-able. The float held up to riding by 4 girls each at a time, and also held up to attacks by (ewww!) envious boys! Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Left us feeling flat!
Blew this up & my 2 kids played on it for a day before it started to deflate. I thought maybe it was just because it sat outside in the weather....so I re-inflated...kids played with it again & the next day it was nearly flat! I searched & searched for a hole to patch but can’t find any! We finally just deflated it & put it away for now. Maybe it just needed a break after a day of playing! I wouldn’t recommend though!

Holes as soon as I blew it up
Within minutes of blowing this up I could hear air coming out of it. I sealed one hole with the provided seal but after going to sleep and waking up the very next morning to a flattened noodle. There are MULTIPLE holes in this and I haven’t even sat on it! It hasn’t even gone into the water yet!! DO NOT BUY THIS!! I now have to go through with a hair straightener and seal all the holes myself because the seal patch provided also does not work.

Save your money
I purchased this float for a gift for my brother in Florida. It arrived when we did for a visit. My 4 children and the 3 from across the road had a lot of fun with this toy for 2 days. We left for Disney World and returned the next week, only to find the Serpent had deflated. We blew him back up and by the next day he had lost most of his air. Obviously he had a hole (or more). We watched the kids play with the serpent on the 2 days they used it, and they didn't play with it too roughly. It never left the pool, so I'm not sure when it got a hole in it. I would think for $20.00 we would have had more than 2 days use with it before it had received a hole in it! Very disappointed, and that's why I gave only 2 stars and advise you to save your money. I buy new pool floats every year for my pool, because, yes, they will lose their air, and they just get gross after using them for 1 season and then storing them for another 3 seasons. But this didn't even make it through the week!
