Who can say no to chocolate?? Not I :) Carnation’s High Protein Powder has been a great way for me to boost my morning protein intake and up my chronically low calcium levels at the same time. Who says getting your nutrition has to taste bad? Sweet and just like chocolate milk, this beats out all the other higher protein drinks/powders I’ve tried — mix in a protein shaker and no clumps or chalky feel like other brands. Easy to rip open, you just pour into a glass of milk for the full 18 g of protein or even coffee if you just need a small boost. Being on medication that suppress my appetite plus commonly having lower calcium/vit D, this has been a good way to get in what I need without taking as many extra supplements (of course, always take what your doctor recommends). Will note, it is a bit high in sugar, around 1/5 to 1/4 of the daily value recommended for adults.

This brings back childhood memories. Great flavor, simple to make. Add a little instant coffee for mocha flavor!

I've used these before, years ago and loved the taste. Now that I'm in my 70's and can't eat as much meat as I'd like due to monetary and other considerations, I substitute this product sometimes. It's damned hard to find in the stores, and very expensive if you do. Getting it here, in bulk is an obvious no-brainer. So I stocked up. Should last me several years.

A tasty, filling breakfast drink. I add a 4 oz frozen extra-strength coffee cube, 10 oz. cold almond milk, and another 4 oz frozen cube -- this one of water. Whiz it all up in the blender. Quick, yummy, plus a good AM protein zap. Sometimes we add 2T powdered peanut butter. That blends in perfectly for additional healthy protein.

This tastes exactly the same as the regular chocolate. I am trying to increase my protein so that's why I got this. My only complaint is that it doesn't dissolve very well compared to the regular chocolate instant breakfast. I just stick it in my blender instead. That encourages me to mix in my other healthy stuff too (protein, colostrum, sea moss). But in a pinch just mixing this with a spoon, stirring won't fully dissolve it.

We needed to increase the calorie and protein intake for our toddler. Initially we were told to try pediasure, but he refused to drink it. We consulted a dietician and were told to try this. No issues with palatability here. He loves this stuff. The doctor has also been very happy with his progress. We are much less stressed knowing he is getting protein. Only thing is I wish they sold the high protein formulation in the tubs to reduce waste. Pro tip- it mixes in really well using a handheld milk frother.
