Dr. Clark Pepsin Supplement, 700mg, 100 Gelatin Capsules

Everyone (in my opinion) should take this. It helps with digestion and with overall health. Way back in the day, pepto bismol used to have this in it (but not any more). If fights all kinds of stomach bugs as well as aides in digestion.

It seems a bit expensive, considering I can get a pepsin+HCl supplement for around $15, but it's the only pure pepsin supplement I could find. I have severe digestive health issues, so I can tell that this works. I was skeptical and afraid I wasted money at first, but it was worth it. I trust this product.

This is hands down the best Pepsin I have tried. It does not have any junkie fillers that I react poorly too and the fact that I can buy this product and Dr. Clark's Betaine HCL separately is a big plus for me. I need more pepsin than what most manufacturers put in their combo products so this option of being able to buy them separately is excellent for me.

I received the product promptly, so the purchase and delivery went smoothly, as all my Amazon purchases do. I was not using this product for myself, so my review is focused on my attempt to use it for digesting protein in mollusks. It did not work for my research.

I have reacted so poorly to other brands of digestive enzymes. For ex. Plant based and animal based broad spectrum I had horribly histamine reactions to. I lowered the dose and same response on a lesser scale. I also tried drinking pineapple and papaya juice which I learned are high in “Thiols” which triggers a sulfur response and forms a histamine reaction.Thank god I found just this singular Pepsin brand. This works because for me it is not part of any blend of other ingredients. This helps to to digest protein without the unpleasant side effects. Please keep making this product. Hopefully Dr. Clark and his team co time making this product!

Gave me diarrhea because I didn’t really need it. If I needed it I’d buy it again.

I used to get Dr Clark Store's Pepsin but it was only sold in small capsules, about 150mgs per cap and taking one at each meal just didn't do much I could tell for my digestion. These 700 mg caps, taken at each meal are the BOMB! I am a type A blood and my HCL production is typically low, so Pepsin helps digest protein, and I am sure other carbs & fats too. It may even boost the HCL production itself. I also noticed a huge difference in my elimination when I took these. Thank you Dr Clark Labs for finally offering a great Pepsin product that works!

Just to be so careful when taking this product. I got horrible side effects taking one single capsule. I felt like when you get food poisoning. The first time I took it, I felt like pins and needles on my arms then from elbows to top of head. I felt like if all of these areas were burning and those areas got sooo red. It was horrible and it got better after I got two glasses of milk. At that time I was not sure what was the reason all of these things happened but the only new thing I got was this product. So few days later I took this product again and the symptoms were even worse. Everything I just mentioned happened in on my whole body, this time not even the milk helped. I was going to put zero stars but that option not available.
