You can calibrate your entire system to this album!
As a serious audiophile since the mid-70’s, I’ve become maybe even more critical about the reproduction of high-fidelity stereo than I should be over the years. I’m centered on analog audio and my ‘minimum requirements’ to the way the media source of the audio sounds can ruin the music for me if it isn’t recorded & printed at least 90% perfect.I still own 80% of the LP’s that I had since the 1970’s but my stereo system components have been constantly upgraded to the best that I can afford. Unfortunately, that does limit my preferences but even so, I still can get some incredible sound from my MC2105 power amp, Kxxxxx speakers, and Flxxxx RT-85 turntable, (with an Oxxxxx 2M Blue cartridge). That’s the basic system, (censored so that Amazon doesn’t suspect I’m trying to sell something), and it’s what I used to listen to this Remastered Pink Floyd Vinyl LP set.I also own the “Delicate sounds of Thunder” CD that came out shortly after the concert in NY back in ’88. The CD player I use for my CD’s and Blu-ray discs is on the higher-end scale and yet, that original CD of the concert (which was of mediocre quality), didn’t stand a chance compared to this LP!When I purchased the Vinyl LP from Amazon, I also purchased the Blu-ray disc, (“Delicate Sound Of Thunder - Restored, Re-edited, Remixed”), which I have yet to listen to, (and watch). I’ll do a review of that disc at a later time.As for the LP, you can believe me when I say that I think the LP is about $50 underpriced. That’s right, “Underpriced”! This set is a Collectors grade press and if cared for, will certainly be worth a lot more in the years to come. The “Delicate Sound Of Thunder - Restored, Re Remixed clean”, is a professionally pressed, 180 gram, vinyl triple-album, set by “We Are Vinyl”.The set includes three LP’s and a beautiful, full-size, coffee-table book, printed on high-quality paper in full HD color. The book document’s the concert in New York and includes details of all the arrangements, writers, and people involved. In fact, there’s nothing about this LP set that was done in any less than the absolutely best that technology had to offer. The company “We Are Vinyl” (wearevinyl.com), is behind this LP print and even offers a free MP-3 version (special code provided with the album set), to those who purchased the album. As I said, I bought the Blu-ray disc too, but because I do my own recording to Reel-to-Reel tape, I’ll be making an uncompressed copy of specific selections for use in my vehicle. I’m not likely to make use of the Mp3 offer but it’s a great bonus for most people who don’t go through the recording procedures like I (and many others), do.For the true audiophile, it just doesn’t get better than this, (seriously). Even a ‘casual listener’ (ear buds and all) will enjoy this LP set. I’m not going to list the songs included in this set because that’s already printed in the Amazon ad page. However, I will say that even if you already have the LP’s that were released shortly after the original concert, you need to get this remastered set! I strongly recommend it to all Pink Floyd fans, those who enjoy the ‘full body’ of analog vinyl, and of course, the “collectors”!Just remember; “handle them from the edges!”Rich

Great-sounding vinyl and a nice package
This updated release makes the '80s classic even better, presenting the entire show. I'm very impressed with how good and clean this vinyl sounds. A bit of an impulse buy, as I have it in high resolution (24/96), but the price was too good to pass up.A quality collection that any Floyd fan would love.

Pink Floyd rocks this concert cd with great unreleased tracks.
Terminal Frost is the Gem here amongst the other Pink Floyd standards that we all love to hear! Maybe mixed with just a bit too much bass on certain tracks. However, you can adjust your EQ settings accordingly.. Enjoy this great music Pink Floyd has re-mastered!

2020 Vinyl Upgrade
Pink Floyd have done a wonderful job of preserving their musical legacy for future generations, and this three record set is yet another welcome addition. My only complaint is the packaging, as it does not represent the quality we have come to expect from them. All the previous releases spared no expense in the physical presentation of the music, and although the packaging design here is actually quite lovely, the material used is really thin and ultimately will not be as durable as previous releases.Obviously, the most important thing here is the music, and the quality of the performances included in this set are absolutely stunning. Consistent with all the previous reissues by the band over the past several years, the pressings and remastering of the vinyl are of the highest quality. If only they had provided a more sturdy package similar to the release of Pulse..... Hence the four stars. The concert film and audio recording have both been re edited and re mixed to great benefit to both. Having purchased the massive Later Years box set last year, I have already seen and heard the results, so I was really hoping they would finally get around to releasing this on vinyl.Despite the packaging issue, I still feel comfortable recommending this release to anyone who is interested in owning this on vinyl. The sound is just excellent. An essential addition to any Pink Floyd vinyl collection.

Just Another Brick.
Got it in 1 day I was amazed it came so quick, I put it in my CD Player started listening to it set the Bass & Treble on my stereo & The Sound was perfect. It was like being in the Audience those nights when it was recorded in NY back in 88 I remember the last time I saw them was during the Wall Tour in 81 I think it was.
