I was looking forward to a clear and easy to use guide for the Cricut Joy. This small book could easily have been so much better! Large print was used to fill pages. Black and white photos were faded and hard to see. The book was obviously poorly edited, it contains many grammatical and usage errors. Aside from step by step directions for sample projects, there were no illustrations or photos of completed projects. I expected so much more...

I just purchased a Cricut Joy and feel a bit intimidated by it so I purchased the book to have a better understanding of the ins and outs to the world of Cricut and Design Space. I flipped through the book once I received it and was disappointed as the pictures were in B/W. Why? It really does not make me want to read the book at all. I need actual pics in color to have a better understanding of what to do and B/W pics just doesn’t do it for me. The pictures are not clear and grainy. Disappointed. It’s now collecting dust on my bookshelf.

The media could not be loaded.  Poor quality screenshots. Done in black and white and not easily read or seen! You need a magnifying tool to even see these screenshots. Total waste of money.

This is pretty much a useless book. I would not recommend. Wasn’t anymore helpful than the factory booklet that comes with the cricut.

Although the book is very helpful the grammar and syntex are off. Seems like it was poorly translated.

This is a self published book in black and white, and is mostly concerned with installing the basic software. I returned it.

Wasn't impressed, didn't find it that helpful, got more out of you tubing it myself!

I just got my first Cricut machine, the Cricut joy, and chose this as my first Cricut book. What a mistake! This was produced without an editor, I presume, and it shows - there's spelling and grammatical errors throughout, with sentences like "No doubt that there are three most crucial tool in Cricut business and are scrapper, weeding tool, and spatula." The instructions are abysmal - to purchase a ready-to-make project, you're advised to "Choose a project to its details." How to Set-Up [sic] and Use Cricut Joy is Chapter 6, page 111, and then there are 11 badly written pages of projects (e.g. make a personalized mug: step 1, "create a single text to be cut out", cut it on vinyl, weed it, and apply it to a mug. Seriously. I am not a frequent Amazon reviewer but I hope that I can save you from buying this.

Giant waste of money. There is nothing in here that I couldn't get from the operating manual that come with my Cricut and a couple of YouTube videos. It is poorly written and formatted as well.
