Works so well I got 4 of them
This works so well that I've ordered about 4, and I keep getting more for different rooms. I'm in the countryside with bugs and mosquitos everywhere, and this really helps. I saw some reviews of complaints it wont even get one mosquito, but if that were such a problem, it helps to turn all lights off, and only use the light from the zapper to attract the insect, in a location that directly makes the insect want to fly into it. Its very interesting and there might be some insects that never go into it, but I'd say its 98%. You just have to get used the loud pop noise it makes even when a knat flies into it. I got used to it very fast and like knowing that it's working when I hear those pops. I,ll be posting a video online and I am a real customer. Only use in indoors, and not outside, for obvious reasons.

Best we have used on flies.
I didn't leave a review before, but thought to do it while buying new bulbs for it. After over a year, this thing just works, period, end of story. Like anything, you will see bad ones I see in the reviews. But it does work a lot better than other fly killers we have used here in Florida.

FIRE WARNING.... FIRE WARNING... FIRE WARNING
FIRE WARNING.... FIRE WARNING... FIRE WARNING....It would very well tell it blew it up with a loud bang started smoking set off the fire alarm and had to get my oven mitts to take it outside it was so hot. It was making a buzzing sound as I went to unplug it. I opened up my doors and windows to try and get the smell out did not work at all. My house smelled like burnt wire for the rest of the night and part of the next day. I put it outside in the street, it still smelled like burnt wire the next day as well. Don't leave it on when gone, sleeping, or out of your view. The manufacturer says you can leave it 24-7, but don't do it. I got in May of last year. It killed anything that would fly, but not worth the risk of it burning down my house.

Absolute 5 star-
Though I had some fly paper help (and maybe hindrance) this puppy did the trick. What happened is about 4 days ago we all of a sudden had an infestation of these little bug type thingees. Not even sure what they were. Very small. About the size of the tip of a pen.It made it tough to make a salad, because the bugs would hover over it. Each ingredient I'd have to swat away bugs. I went and got some fly paper. That came in a 2 pack. Ya could hang from a light or stand it on its own and put near the window. I used 1 the first day. That caught a lot, but it still left a lot.The 2nd day I opened the 2nd one. I figured might as well use that too. I figured I'd put this one by the light. I left it on overnight, hoping it would get rid of most of them. Ooops!! The two were now pretty full, except there were tons more bugs. I think what happened is the light attracted the bugs to come through a small hole in the wall from the outside. The 3rd day- yesterday- I kept the kitchen dark, and used the dim light over the oven with the fly paper. It's got a lot on there, but there were still plenty of bugs. I was going to get more fly paper. That was $7.50 though. I figured I'd try this instead, as it was about $35 and it could be used continuously.I ordered at noon. It was delivered by the afternoon. Took the 4 screws out so I could adjust the catch plate and get the extra bulbs out. Put em back in. Plugged the thing in. About 5 seconds later heard a loud "POP!!" Startled me, but big smiles. I left for a few hours. Came back and while still a few bugs, a massive improvement. There were about 10 crawling on the counter near the light. No biggie in using my slipper to smack em. Much easier than when they were flying around.A few hours ago, I was able to make a salad. No bugs flying around having me think they would end up in my food. I just went out to the kitchen, and killed 3 more that were walking on the counter. So no, it might not get every single bug. Still a massive 5 star. Also, some of the bugs it kills don't fall in the catch plate. So you'll have to wipe your counter off. Again, that beats 100's of bugs flying around. As for the noise- if you're right next to it the thing can be loud. To me it was a good sound. If you go to the next room you can hear it, but it's not loud. It lets ya know when it got something. I also can't speak for the longevity of it. I've only had it one day. I'm about to unplug it, as it seems most of the bugs are now dead. Hopefully they don't come back and I won't need it again. If they do, I'll use this again rather than buy fly paper.
