Disney - Mickey Mouse, Toy Story and More! Me Reader Electronic Reader 8-Book Library - PI Kids

These are my favorite gift for bday parties! Kids and parent love them and helps motivate your kiddo to look forward to reading. It also gives him the chance to do it on their own when you’re not able to.

My grandson is almost 4 and on the autism spectrum. Mostly non verbal and adhd. But he’s smart and started showing a real interest in books and we’d all read with him. But this! We learned it together and by page 3 of his first book, he understood he had to push the color that matched the physical book and the reading device. He picks the color and it now reads that page. A tiny ding lets us know to turn the page. I almost had a happy heat attack when he learned more about using it and after we read 3 together, he went off to read the fourth book alone. I don’t mean actually he’s reading but he feels in control. I love it. Just ordered another set.

My 4yo son is obsessed with these! This is his second set of MyReader books and I frequently hear him from bed listening and following along to the books.

My 4 year old got this set for Christmas and he has really enjoyed listening to the 8 different stories. He pulls it out nearly every day. It reminds me of the books on tape I had when I was a child that would read each book and chime to tell you to turn the page. He thinks pushing the buttons are fun and he also gets practice matching the shape on the page to the shape on the electronic pad in order for the device to read the correct page. He loves to be read to, but this set gives him some independence in that he doesn’t have to rely on someone else to be there. He can have some quiet time and explore the books on his own. He has liked these so much that I plan on getting him another set with different stories. My 2 year old also likes to sit and listen, although her attention span will only last for one book haha.

Our son was very excited to receive this for his birthday. Sadly two of the buttons didn't work, I contacted the seller and a replacement package was on the way the same day. It just arrived and works great. There are 8 hard cover books along with the red "me reader" that you see in the picture. For the child to have the book read to them they simply press the picture that goes with the book they have, then the icon that matches the icon on the page. (There are 10 pages in each book, and the 10 icons in the middle each correspond to a page). In order to have the stories fit on 10 pages, the storylines are very very simplified, definitely not high quality literature we're talking about here. Overall a great way for a child to spend time in the car or independently while I am working with another child during homeschool time.

Easy to use for a three year old. Good quality books.

My son loves this! Perfect for the disney fan, the books have creative little stories in them. No too long and the reader helps inpendent reading but also giving us a break. Great little gift or treat!
