How To Get Maximum Publicity - A Guide for Authors and Business Owners
Penny Sansevieri is extremely knowledgeable and is an expert on all things Internet. In "Red Hot Internet Publicity" she covers every imaginable detail you would need to think about as a business owner or author seeking publicity online. There are some good practical tips like considering your website visitor's attention span when creating a website. There are also things you need to know about how to encourage people to remain at your site longer. There is even advice on how to pick a site name which will be helpful for anyone starting out online.I liked the very interesting chapters on blogging. Also there are some good tips for creating videos, newsletters and apps. Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest are also discussed. What made this book especially enjoyable was all the funny quotes at the beginning of each chapter. This book is written in a very friendly conversational style. Penny Sansevieri makes everything she discuses very easy to understand. This book may take you two days to read but it will give you a wealth of information you will use for years to come. I recommend you read this book once to get a general idea of the Internet landscape. Then further readings while taking lots of notes will help you implement the ideas. So I can highly recommend this to new authors or those just starting a business. It will also help established authors and business owners who want to take advantage of all the Internet offers.~The Rebecca Review

but Penny presents a good overview of what it takes in a way that ...
Penny C. Sansevieri seems dedicated to helping authors successfully market their book. Yes, some of these ideas you may have read elsewhere, but Penny presents a good overview of what it takes in a way that can help you get organized with a workable book marketing plan. She writes in a clear, easy-to-understand and no-nonsense way. I won't say this is the only book you need as part of your book marketing education, but it should definitely be on your marketing "bookshelf" so that you can refer back to it as the valuable reference guide it is.

A good all-in-one resource
Before I go on to sharing my thoughts about this book I'd like to disclose that Penny has been an internet buddy of mine for a few years now and presented during my annual Promo Day event. I reached out to Penny and invited her to participate as I rate her knowledge of the industry very highly and have been signed up to her AME newsletter for years.Given my connections with Penny I had high expectations for this book and can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. Red Hot Internet Publicity: The Insider's Guide to Marketing Online is an excellent resource for both complete beginners and more experienced internet marketers. I'm not a newbie to internet marketing and I'm a self confessed social media junky and I still learnt loads of new tips from this book. One of the great things about it is the simplicity of how the information is presented. It lays it all out and uses every day language (a lot of these types of books get caught up in industry lingo that leaves the reader, especially those new to the industry, wondering what they're talking about). This book is also very complete, covering topics from websites and blogs to individual social media networks. A good all-in-one resource that I'll be referring to back to again and again.

You won't get rich
If you are expecting to read this book and get rich on the Internet, better not quit your day job. While it has lots of information. an overload of it, it mainly makes you realize how the slim the chances really are. I gave up about a fourth of the way through.

Chocked Full Of Info
I picked this up to see if there was anything new in marketing on the Internet . Penny has done an exceptional job of hitting all of the main concepts with good detail and readable format. The only problem I have is that, although all the info is available, to effectively use it requires an inordinate amount of time. Picking and choosing from all of the available options is necessary to become effective. That's not the author's fault, but the world we live in - I highly recommend it.

Nice to have all this info in one place...
People who do internet marketing and PR should know most of this stuff already, but it's nice to have all this info in one place. There are some real gems about new things to try too. Because Penny covers a wide range of topics, she can't go too deep into any particular one, but this book covers the basics and opens the doors to more specialized sources. I highly recommend it for any author's reference shelf, or for others wanting to use the web for marketing and PR. Great job, Penny!
