After Market Tailgate Step That fits all Pickups 2 Steps Passenger Side

This is fantastic. I own an F 350 4x4 and it's tough getting into the back. Not anymore. I purchased the two step one. The directions say you can't use it with a tonneau cover. I have a tonneau cover, all I have to do is pull the pin up and slide the step out of the bracket and we're good to go. I weigh 280lbs. and have no problems with it. It installs in about 20 min if you stop to read the directions. Everyone I show it to wants one too. It's fantastic.

Nicely folding and I really like the hand grip. The steps are not very sturdy and the bottom held on by tiny pop rivets. I weigh 180 and it is ok for now but if you are heavy I would avoid this step. Another design fault is that the steps are offset from the upper hinge and thus the whole thing twists to the right when you step on it. They should shift the steps a bit to the right so it is more centered. Another design flaw is that the steps when only partially unfolded and you step on them it snaps over and hits your shin. To fix this the upper step should be made larger and thicker (higher) so the weight is only there. Nevertheless, I just remember these shortcomings, take care, and we use the steps without problems.

Easy to install and works very well, however you can not leave it connected to the tailgate if you have a truck bed cover. The cover will not completely close and lock, so I have to connect it to the base every time I want to use it (which is not very often) But I do need it to get into the back of my F-150 4x4.

not as sturdy as I expected. Rust shows on each tube after first rain shower because the ends are not all covered.

Bought this for my husband and's truck. He is 71 and had trouble getting in the bed of his truck. Easy to install and easy to remove if you need to. He loves it. Likes the fact that there is a handrail to hold on to. Would recommend this.

It is marketed as “fits ALL vehicles” if you want a sloppy fit and unsightly then that works fine

Hubby placed on his Dodge 4x4 dually to save on his knees in climbing in and out of the truckbed. Used daily, great accessory for the truck.
