False Claim but good purchase
This Sculpey material is labelled "Extra Firm". There is no extra firm, This is just Sculpey Firm. Exact same labelling, product number and exact same bar code. That said, I will buy this package of 3 again and again because the price is about $5 less per pound than the individual pound packages of Sculpey Firm. The material is wonderful to work with, especially if doing detailed work. The gray color shows light/dark contrast in lighting much better than any other polymer I have tried and the firmness holds detail, but as another reviewer suggested, use a blow drier to "bake" details as you go. Great product.I would give it 5 stars, but I dislike being lied to.

Nothing compares to this clay for fine detailed work.
They clay is very hard initially but rolling between the palms softens it up easily. Once conditioned, the clay is easy to use , works well with clay tools and holds intricate details. It is reasonably priced compared to competitors. I’ve tried many brands of polymer clays and always cone back to Sculpey brand products.

Great modeling clay
Bought this for our 8yr old grandson, a budding artist. He immediately started sculpting some of his favorite TV and movie characters. This clay was very easy for him to be creative. We had to let him create numerous objects so as to only heat up our oven once to bake them. Now the sculptures are baked and preserved forever.

who doesnt love em some sculpey
easy to use, but you do have a set amount of time. may have to work in some mineral oil if it sits in a drawer more than a year or so, but we love sculpey. It is the basis for many of our sculptural pieces prior to casting.

Great Product
Packaged very well. Got it at designated time. Was exactly what I wanted. But DAUMN!!! That's firm clay. Gonna workout my digits using it, lol. Overall, great all around.

My preference, never used medium blend
What's to say. I'm happy in the heat of Vegas Amzl got the items here and the bricks aren't cooked. Another six pounds! Should last a month ha. I'm curious what the medium blend is, however I find firm to be perfectly useable in all situations. Clay softener is needed if the clay has gone hard but becomes like sculpt original and then I'd assume like medium blend while you work, but it's best when it's just hand conditioned. Holds strong and holds details. Medium blend seems like it would have a place over original, so I may pick up a few pounds of it and see if it's easier with certain things that need weight but are easier to leave softer tool marks. Either way I'll always stick with firm. Or monster clay

Can not be ised as clay, rocks maybe.
I opened the boxes and this clay is so hard i cant work it with my hands, and its so dry that when i can roll it through my clay roller it crumbles. Dont by it unless you know how to make it workable.
