Hot handle
First time I used I nearly dropped as handle far too hot. Surely ceramic not supposed to conduct the heat. Pretty unusable really.

Excellent Item
This teapot is ideal for one person, I drink various specialty loose tea and this is really good for that, it’s also just as good for every day use, I have bought several different teapots for loose tea but this is my favourite, it pours nicely and cleans easily. I would definitely recommend it.

Japanese Tea Pot
bought for my brother in law who is awaiting heart bypass operation and needed to remind him to slow down - he has worked in Japan before in his previous work and wanted him to accept that tea drinking should can be taken seriously and enjoyed slowly as an introduction to slowing his pace of life a little. He loved it and has since bought japanese cups and further tea infusions. Would definitely recommend the purchase - and its an interesting piece of pottery.

Love this teapot!
I love this little pot, which is actually very deceptive. I assumed it would only hold a small cup but it filled the mug in the picture with some over. We get a large mug from each pot and it tastes so much better made using the strainer than loose in a pot. As someone with a chronic pain condition a small pot like this is useable too. We stopped using big teapots when my fibromyalgia became chronic but I can handle this. My husband likes that the strainer is easily removed to clean rather than loose tea in the pot. It’s emptied straight into a pot for compost or the food waste bin. The larger leaf teas makes for easier cleaning too. We warm the pot before brewing as well as our cups, then we put a timer on for 3 minutes once we add the water. We’ve found this perfect with our tea pigs blend and it maintains heat in the cup for optimal time too. I only add an extra teaspoon to the strainer for a second mug and it’s just a strong.I can’t find anything negative about this other than, like every teapot I’ve used, it will leak when too full. Not an issue as I pour it on the sink unit now. First time I took it into my bedroom to pour with kitchen roll ready as I expected it to leak. The only issue we had was buying loose tea! Our local Asda still doesn’t have any since we first tried weeks ago. In the end I purchased some Tea Pigs tea online. It’s been a long time since we had loose tea in the house as we became heavy coffee drinkers and switched to tea bags. My sister has raved about these tea pots since she went to China - it was the only thing she liked about Chinese cuisine (weird I know). I can now see why and this little pot has become a daily ritual. I agree that the flavour tastes so much better in these pots. My husband has a little infuser he uses with teabags in a travel mug so he tried the same tea in that and there’s no comparison - I wouldn’t even know it was the same tea! My husband says we need another pot so we don’t have to do separate mugs but it’s not currently on sale - I added to my wish list so I can look out for when it is though.

Compact and bijou
We love tea and have a range of different loose leaf teas.We saw this and thought it looked cool and would be a Nice way to serve green tea. Here are our thoughts:👍 nice design and shape. We really like the handle. This adds a little bit of ceremonial elegance to our tea serving.👍 we like the wide tea leave basket as this helps with infusion. This is bigger than we expected and is does infuse well. The design of the pattern is very basic and perfectly pleasant but could have been more adventurous or colourful. We do like this teapot but it’s very small so not practical if you like to drink a lot in each sitting but can be easily refilled each time. This only works if you have smaller cups rather than normal coffee mugs etc

Lovely little teapot that feels well made
I really like this cute, little teapot. The overall finish is good and it looks and feels well made. The colour is a dark grey/silver-ish and the white stripes and darker speckles create an elegant and stylish design. It's textured and also feels nice to touch. It feels quite sturdy without being too heavy and I found it very easy to use.It came without any care instructions which I found inconvenient, but washing it by hand isn't too difficult. It arrived in a plain, polystyrene box, which is something to note if you're thinking of buying it as a present. The body of the teapot felt hot to touch when it was filled, but the handle didn't warm up, and felt like a good size when pouring.I really like this teapot overall and would recommend it if you're looking for a decent teapot for one.
