TetraPond 26596 Waterfall Filter, Up to 1000-Gallon,Black

We bought this and a pump to make a filter and aerator for a 1000 gallon stock tank turned into a fish pond. it works great and love to listen to the waterfall noise. keeps the tank aeriated and fish use it to hide behind waterfall too, added lava rocks for filter. has to be cleaned regularly but that was to be expected as we had to keep it under a tree to keep water cool enough in summer in oklahoma.

I have a really small pond, 50 gallons. I’ve been running 2, 500 gph pumps. One in the water and one to a smaller water fall. Still had dirty looking water. Added this waterfall with a 1 inch tube and a 1400 gph pump. 3 hours and the water is almost clear. I’m loving this waterfall. It looks like it will be easy to clean. Plus my two 4 inch comets are enjoying it. Now thinking about having a bigger pond installed.

Great value for the money, works great for water fall/filter

Nice waterfall. Modified the plate that the filter sits on to allow more water to flow through the filter. As is it blocks at least 50% of the surface area of the pad. Filter media that it comes with is adequate but could be a bit better.

This thing is super cool and has made our pond water crystal clear! We love that all we have to have is a pump because this is a filter. We did have to buy the rocks for the inside.

Had it for about a month. No complaints or issues, seems to be doing what it’s supposed to do. Water is clear and fish & plants look happy with the water conditions.Super simple to set up. I combined mine with another out-of-pond electric filter, so the waterfall is getting pre-filtered water, which seems to be a great setup so far.

This product is fiddly but does work as intended with some modifications. Both sides of the bulk head appeared to be leaking and were challenging to tighten. I did what I could then used silicone to seal both sides. Use lots of thread tape on your tube as well, because my 1 inch tube kept sliding off once there was water pressure. Also use a hose clamp to hold it in place. I thought for the price it would be 'plug and play' but it was fiddly. Seems like overpriced plastic but it does work so it's alright I guess? (Doesnt come with media for the filter FYI. Only mesh bag, plastic filter inserts)
