I Love drinking DaYuLing Oolong during daily. Wonderful umami, without the roasted flavor. DaYuLing oolong tea is one of the rarest and most sought after teas. Grown at elevations higher than 2,000 meters above sea level, DaYuLing tea is exceptionally aromatic and sweet. Excellent selection of oolongs and some of the best I've tasted. The DaYuLing in particular is stunningly good - aromatic and almost syrupy. Highly recommended. Gong fu style: Filtered tap water at full boil, quick rinse. 1st infusion, full boil, 30 seconds. Aroma is light, sweet floral and vegetal. Aroma of wet leaves is honey and osmanthus. Tea flavor and mouthfeel all typical of high mountain oolong: osmanthus, honey, slightly vegetal and a long sweet finish. But not tasting anything magical like the best Taiwan Da Yu Ling teas I’ve had. A very nice tea.

I used to drink "regular tea" like Lipton or Paul Newman because that's what my Mother bought in bulk. For Christmas a year ago, my girlfriend bought me a variety pack of teas from around the world. After tasting other types of teas, I started experimenting to find my "perfect tea". This tea is at the top of my list. It has an aroma and flavor that is not overbearing, it tastes good both hot and cold, and it doesn't leave an aftertaste. I'll definitely be ordering more!

The tea actually has a pretty good aftertaste which I like very much. Not a huge tea connoisseur by any stretch, but this is one of the better tasting tea I got from Amazon, and it is actually from Taiwan!

I drink my tea in the morning after breakfast. I experienced High Mountain tea in Taiwan during a visit. It is the best .

I was looking for authentic high mountain oolong teas but it was probably my focus on affordability and lack of experience/knowledge that bit me. It's not bad tea. But I highly doubt its authentic Da Yeu Ling Oolong. It tastes mild, sweet and floral but didn't really impress me at all and there's a lack of complexity in the flavor. Tasted like sweet-floral water lol. I've also heard Taiwan is flooded with "High Mountain Oolong Tea" as a marketing thing and the real thing is harder to find

Enjoy the aroma

I had high expectations after sampling a present box of tea from a friend returning from Taiwan that was exquisite. So I bought this brand since I couldn't find the brand of the gift. I made two cups. First, I was disappointed at the lack of aroma of just dried "pearls". There were more "crumbs" (single leaves) than pearls (which contain stem and hopefully some new growth leaves which are where the flavor predominates and is the signature of the grade of tea). I saw very few and any growing tips. I would guess this is a Grade 4 tea possibly harvested during the summer time (early spring is best). I am glad I didn't give this as a present or I would have lost face.

This is the best oolong tea out of many we've tried. It has sophisticated pronounced taste, non-broken whole leaves, pleasing aroma and golden color.

Really yummy tea and the tin is beautiful. Will be buying again x
