Colour wears, but ages like a fine wine!
Solid pen, grippy finger hold, smashing. Paint wears off with use and getting beat up in bags and pockets, but develops a nice patina so still looks nice.

Solid pen, feels premium.
Great pen, sturdy and nicely weighted. Premium feel. Refills are easy to come by, first job was replacing the stock ink fill with a narrower tip. DIe-cut finger grip is cut well and is easy to hold. Pocket clip is strong and so far has not bent or become loose. Only criticism is that I bought it in black, and the coating very quickly started wearing away to reveal the brass colour underneath. I use as my main pen in a professional kitchen though so may last longer in a personal or office environment.

Feels lovely,
feels really nice to hold and use, mechanism feels robust and accurate. Writing is really nicely as the weight is really good. Parker ink cartridges are the same but I feel the Rotring ones flow better.

Good pens 4 and a half stars.
Great balanced feeling pen. Would give 4 1/2 stars though as there is a bit of wobble. Supposedly fixed by salvaging a different spring or getting a small rubber seal but not got that far yet. Wouldn't pay full price because of that but you'll see the pen under £20 often.

I really Like this Pen
I really like this Pen. It's weighty but not too much so, there feels like there is a nice balance to it. I like that it is angled like an old school HB Pencil and that the place where you hold it is "textured" so that you have a nice grip on it. It feels fairly narrow compared to the Parker I was using before but I got used to it very quickly and massively prefer this over that one. It's shape means that it won't roll off the table or anything and it's Black coating with Red accents and writing is cool. It's got a real 80's A-Team vibe to it. The construction is metal for the most part. I THINK the plunger is plastic however but I can't be sure. None of the paint has come off of this yet and I know people that have had them a long time and they still look like new. Even when they do wear what you will get is the metal coming through the paint giving you an awesome patina to remind you how long you have spent with the pen. I can't be sure but I think these pens used to be made of brass which this one definitely isn't, maybe the higher end model is? The pen writes nicely for sure which is down to the included nib and ink stuff but I am very happy with it. Not sure what I will change it to when this runs out but I am sure there are many option. Overall I am really happy with this pen. I bought it when it was on discount for £20 and I am not sure I would pay full price but then that's down to me being tight with money rather than value for money. I am very tempted to build a set of these with different colours but that's probably stupid however it does show how much I like them.

Always a go to
Bought for myself some time ago, and since purchased 2 more as gifts (gift recipients echo the following). They're great in regards to look, feel, satisfying click and have a nice flow when writing, jotting, doodling. Overall, very tactile and enjoyable to use

Writing instruments can be very subjective. For me, this pen is immensely comfortable. It’s light but solid in hand, it has some heft but well balanced, beautifully machined brass with a very pretty and very dark green finish. The knurling for the fingers is grippy but not intrusive or uncomfortable. A mechanical and pleasant click is included as well. In just a few hours it has become my favorite pen in my modest, work horse oriented collection that includes common go-to’s like cross, multiple fisher’s, and even the trusty bic cristal. I did some research before purchasing the pen due to the complaints that the ink refill is lacking. It performs and lays down ink, it is also very smooth writing. However, it truly is lacking. I insist on a bold point and want a lot of ink on page while writing. After all it’s a ballpoint so even being left handed, smudging isn’t an issue for me with bold ballpoints. The research yielded an excellent result for me: Pelikan 337 Giant. I purchased one of the pelikan refills (bold, blue ink) when i purchased the pen and couldn’t be happier. It is identical in outside dimensions and drops in with zero issues. The pelikan 337 giant (bold) isn’t quite as bold as i would ideally prefer but i honestly don’t care. It’s a good unit, regardless. Don’t go with some Fisher-adapter-jerry-rigged nonsense. Shell out the ten bucks for the pelikan and be happy. It turns a great pen with a mediocre refill into an amazing complete package. 10/10

黒を買ったので、赤インク用に購入しました。 ロットリングから赤インクは出ていませんが、インクの規格が同じ他メーカーの物を使用しています。
