I wanted to try some lighting effects with fibre optic cable. Knowing nothing about it I bought these. First, turned out they’re what I needed. They transmit light just as expected. And if you apply a little heat to the end you’ll have a small lens. But be aware. The description is accurate. There’s 900 feet of these things! 100 nine-foot lengths. So I’m guessing I’ll never need to buy anymore.

Look, I don't know much about fiber optic cables but they seem like they will function. They are the size that was listed, they look good and cast light so there isn't a lot to be said from an amateur. They worked for what I needed them for.

Works great. Note - melts if you use a glue gun on it.

This fiber has excellent light transmission and the bonus of being able to be bent quite tightly without breaking, for fitting in very small models such as N scale (1:150) cars and trucks. That does cause a lot of light emission at the corners, but a bit of opaque black paint takes care of that quite nicely.

I used this product to make the effect of Starlite in a display I built for the Military Veterans Museum here in Oshkosh Wisconsin. The installation was simple but time consuming as each fiber had to be hot glurd into place. The end effect was perfect for my uses. The museum has received many compliments on this display. I'm very satisfied.

Use these to light the nooks and crannies of those starship models my wife wishes I would quit spending money on. Plan on ordering more as soon as I buy another kit to build.

Nice lengths of end glow fiber optics. I had a friend 3D print a led/ fiber holder and the single led lit them up nicely.

The worse bundle of fiber optic strands I've ever purchased!! Brittle, not consistently sized (supposed to be .75mm) , cheap and most all of r individual strands broke immediately. I use these for a fiber optic lightwhip (dancing prop)
