Good solid mount
I hesitated at first but tried this mount to see what I really thought, I was very surprised at the quality and how tight it locked up on my AR. I have a Century BFT47 and honestly wouldn't hesitate to use this mount on my other firearms. Removed and replaced numerous times and always held a zero. This mount at this price point is of high quality and very durable.

Great Price and Good Fit
Installed this rail on a PSAK47 in order to mount a red dot. I can't say how it will hold up over the long term or in less than ideal environments... But, the initial experience has been what one ought to expect from a simple mounting system. Tight fit, proper clearance, and nothing off center or crooked. Has held up to limited range time. Since this isn't my primary but more of a range toy I'm not looking to dump big bucks into a mount. This met my need more than adequately. For the price point and what it accomplishes for my purposes/need this rail gets a five star review.

No instructions and not completly straight forward
Mount works great and it rock solid, once you have it mounted right. If the locking lever is hard to close and doesn't close completely, flip the leaver around and try it that way ( you can do this by opening it so it's pointing directly away from the mount, pulling down slightly, and twisting ) Mine had to close towards rear of the mount to lock solidly.

It’s better than you expect!
This fits standard AK style dovetails. It sits firmly; just be sure to adjust the screw BEFORE you attempt to install. It’s basically a simpler version of the Midwest Industries one for 1/4 the price

Bad design causes immediate failure
I bought this mount because I wanted to test out modern optics on an AK platform without dropping several hundred dollars on a mount from a company like RS Regulate. Initial impression was very good, the mount was easy to adjust tension on and fitted perfectly to the rail of my WASR-10. The pic rail section itself fits nice and low over the receiver, and while perhaps not perfectly centered over the bore it was perfectly straight and close enough for my purposes. I mounted a compact RDS to the rail and took it out to the range for sighting in. I decided to try zeroing at 25 yards using Wolf steel-case 7.62x39. I shot a three round group and had a nice 1" group that was high and right. I adjusted the sight and fired a second group that was dead on and again about 1". I fired a third group to confirm zero and noticed the first two rounds were nice and tight and the third was more than 2" low. I thought I may have yanked the trigger so I went to shoot another grouping, as I was lining up for the first shot I pressed my thumb against the back of the mount and it simply fell off the side of the rifle. After several attempts to remount and continue testing I discovered that the locking mechanism which prevents the release lever from moving had failed and the mount would not stay tightened down. I would return the mount but I was only able to get to the range and test it three days after the return window had closed. If you are looking for a side mount for an AK type rifle I would recommend trying something with the standard 180 degree side throw lever of the Russian original type mounts.

Not pretty but seems to work
Was sent the product, which was obviously a returned product from the merchant, mechanism was a bit chewed up but seems to work ok, we'll see if it holds up and maintains zero over time.

Yugo pattern okay and good!
I was apprehensive but so tired of spending way too much on mounts. Especially with so many AK variants. Usually I fail or just stick with the name brands. This time I didn’t! I mean it’s just a little loose on the rail. I alway use the hex to gauge good closure while opening and closing the lever for final fit. Oil the hardware. Its build is good! It’s level tight and not moving! I’ve got over 500 rounds on it with zero issues other than I routinely check the tightness. Worth it! Score! I saved $60 I can buy one round of 223 now!

Well made.... but not for side folder to left side.
Arrived quickly and attached easily. Seemed fairly sturdy and well made. Unfortunately I'm an idiot.... my AK-103 has a left mounting plate, but a stock that folds and locks to the left side of the receiver. Therefore an optic/sight mount on that side prevents the stock from folding or locking in place, so I took it off as soon as I installed it (and did a face palm). So I can't comment on sturdiness, reliability or ability to hold a zero. Will be looking at an alternative mounting option (why Kalishnakov USA decided to use this combo I can't figure, but that's not the fault of this product). Just keep it in mind if you have a side folder.
