Really Love it. Atleast now I have some space where I can keep my precious data. Waiting for bigger hard drives with hindreds of Tera Bytes and I wish that them should be hitting market soon.From past a few years this market of Hard drives only crawlled upto max 16TB which is quite expensive.More space should be available for cheap.

4gb coverage about 3.8gb so ok

I was looking for a portable hard drive that i could just plug in and go. Not being techy I had struggled with two previous purchases - transpired one of which was faulty. The One Touch seemed straight forward and as soon as I plugged in it started copying data from my PC. All good. I later saw warnings though re: disconnecting and not being able to gain access again without a password. I couldn't recall being asked to set up a Password and was concerned. It transpires it is possible to connect and use the One Touch without setting up password security. Thanks for your good advice Parsley the Lion.

Portability, warranty, subscriptions to other software are all worthy of purchasing the product.

I purchased the 4Tb drive (formatted size 3.63 Tb) to replace a WD one that stopped working a couple of days ago and this to me highlights the most important requirement of a portable drive in that it needs to be reliable. Unfortunately when you buy one of these drives you don’t know how reliable or how long it will last. The WD drive that failed was just over 3 years old and had spent most of its life in a case, I also had a Seagate drive that was older and used much more and is still going which is why this time I went for another Seagate. Only time will tell if I made the right decision, but over the last 24 hours or so I have copied over 2.5 Tb’s to the drive so it has been writing solidly for that period without any issues which is a good sign. The write and read speeds seem to be in line with my other similar drives but it very much depends on what you are reading/writing as writing a single large file will be quicker that writing several small files totaling a similar size.The drive is also very quiet which is good, so at the moment I am pleased with the drive and hope I will continue to be for years to come.

4 months since i bought it and I am very happy with it. Fast and reliable, I've always been happy with the seagate expansion hard drives and this one isn't an exception. Great quality, I expect it to last a long time.

I needed a larger external hard drive for a new laptop and chose Seagate as I have already got one of their drives for my old laptop. The old one has never given me any trouble and the One Touch is now proving the same.
