I was looking for something to replace the stuff I had been using for years and couldn’t seem to find what I was looking for until I gave this stuff a shot. STMNT smells absolutely fantastic but it’s the performance I need to rave about. I’m 51 and have a thinning and receding hairline and this stuff makes my hair feel and lay thicker. It’s amazing and it lasts all day! The smell doesn’t change like some hair products do and you really don’t need much and it’s so easy to spread evenly. I’m really excited I finally found a product that works so well!

I've been in the market for a new hair product for quite a while. I've tried most of the top rated matte pastes but nothing felt perfect. My barber recommended I try STMNT matte paste, but gave me a tip to use STMNT fiber pomade on my wet hair before drying.So my routine is when I get out the shower I use a very small amount of the pomade and spread it into my wet hair. I blow dry until it is mostly dry with a tiny bit in dampness. I then use STMNT matte paste to roughly style my hair. I finish by blow drying until completely dry using a comb/brush/fingers to set my hair into its final place.Other matte pastes I've tried are either too hard with strong hold, or too soft with weak hold. The harder ones typically "gripped" my hair too hard and made styling difficult. This one seems to have my ideal balance of being malleable and easy to work with while maintaining a hold that lasts me all day.

Works good for adding texture and keeping hair in place. It’s pretty lowkey and hard to tell it’s in your hair. A little goes a long way. My only problem is that it’s a little too sweet smelling for my liking

First time paste user, great for styling hair and holds hair great throughout the day, great for wavy medium length hair

It smells amazing, but does not provide the proper hold and hard to get out of your hair.

My barber recommended this pumade and I love it, my hair doesn’t look greasy like the others and easy to style.

Best matte pomade there is! I have a really hard time buying anything else! If you want a very low shine, very natural look, but holds well and you can still play with your hair a little, this is your product to buy

The hold was decent—kept my style in place most of the day without feeling too heavy. It definitely gives good volume and a matte finish like advertised.But washing it out was a pain. Took a lot of effort to fully get it out of my hair, and even more to get it off my hands after applying. Felt like I had to scrub more than I should for a daily product.Not bad overall, but not something I’d reach for every day because of the cleanup.
