This hardware does the job and makes the connection fine

I'm a basement tinkerer with only very slight formal schooling on electrical and electronic application and theory, so I'm not hip to a lot of the electrical components such as these ferrules being out there. I saw someone showcase these on the Internet and bought these the next day. The individual in their video showed a power supply, with screw terminals that clamped down on bare stranded wires for an electrical connection. They showcased how much more cleanly, and secure a connection would be if one of these ferrules was installed on the wire. I've been in a couple of situations like this and that's why I bought this set. As this is my first set, I don't have anything to compare it to, but I am still impressed. The included tool is very easy to use, feels durable and well assembled. I've only used a few of the ferrules in this kit at different gauge sizes but I haven't had any issues with the ferrules fitting over wires, even if the wire ends fray open a little. The trick is to only strip enough wire insulation off to the length of the ferrule, no more or less. Following instruction on the video I mentioned, I strip a tiny bit more insulation than the length of the ferrule, so I can be sure the wire went all the way through, and only a tiny amount of wire sticks out of the ferrule. From there, slide the crimping tool over the ferrule and slowly close the tool until it's jaws are touching the ferrule, then firmly close the tool handles together. It doesn't take much effort, and I can completely crimp even a large ferrule down with one hand on the tool. Crimped correctly, the ferrule will not come off, and you'll never have to worry about loose wire strands. As I stated in my review title, I wish I had known about these sooner, and I'm very happy with this set and tool!

Great inexpensive tool and kit that more than paid for itself on a single car audio project, enabling quick and easy connections while also providing a clean look. Amplifiers have gotten smaller and therefore connections are crowded in a small space. These fittings make connections easy and provide quality finished product - functional and aesthetic.

The description was accurate, the shipping cost was decent, the shipping time was very quick and was a decent value. Very happy with the item that I purchased, this is a good seller, highly recommended. They are very well made and look very durable.

Had no idea these were even a thing until watching some YT videos on auxilary fuse box installs for 4runners. They site had a link to a different set, but I went with this instead. The crimper seems very high quality, the ferrules were very easy to use and gripped very tightly. I'll continue to use Haisstronica for additional crimping items after this purchase, it's good stuff

Came with lots of ferrules but I primarily deal with 12 and 10 strand so I bought extras. Nice crimp. Easy to put the ferrule in and tighten down the screws. No more loose strands. Easy to crimp, too, and there is no doubt about making good connections. Wonderful idea! Buy it!

Good for the price.

The product that I received was of black colour, and not in Chrome finish as shown in the image. I cannot comment much on the product quality as I did not even open it and returned it back.

Very good product for amazing price, combines a ratcheting ferrule crimper and a box of 1200 ferrules. Box is transparent plastic locking case with 6 divisions holding 7 bags of ferrules for wire sized 0.5mm2 to 6.0mm2 (22 to 10 AWG). The ratchet crimper works perfectly creating round crimps with 3 indented ridges, holds perfectly when matched to wire size accurately, allowing for clean insulated connections that work perfectly in a range of connectors commonly found within electrical, PV, IT, electrical installations and equipment.
