Amazing tool.
It came sharpened and ready to use. It performs beautifully on wood and is a great tool to have for my carving projects. Great company, great quality. Definitely recommend

Very good - a tiny amount of honing
Very good - a tiny amount of honing, and it is razor sharp. Very tough steel, holds an edge well. Handle is okay, will roll off the bench if you aren't careful.
