Pfaltzgraff Stoneware and Porcelain Cleaner 18 oz.

Let me start by saying that I rarely write reviews. I have had my Pfaltzgraff dishes for almost 25 years. I have tried all the internet fixes for removing silverware stains to no avail. My expectations for this cleaner were very low. This cleaner is amazing! I applied a small amount and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then I used a rag and applied a little pressure. This cleaner took off 25 years of stains! My plates look brand new!

I was initially very skeptical but I was tired of soft scrubbing my Pfaltzgraff April plate setting. Plates have a cream colored base color and mine were gray from the utensils. We have a member of the family that really marks up the plates when they insist on cutting their food long after one side is separated from the other. The price tag was steep but, now after using it, I beleive worth every penny. I am sorry I didn't take before and after pics. After Christmas, when the everyday set comes back out, I will. I lined up the plates and bowls still around and did half of each plate and the whole family was amazed at the difference between each side. Beat me standing at the sink scrubbing each one. Will bay this again.

I have used other products like Bon Ami to remove flatware marks on my Pottery Barn dishes, but it involved a lot of scrubbing. This product needs only to be wiped on and left to do the work. I put about a nickel size drop on a dinner plate and spread it around with a paper towel. Let it sit for a while (30-60 minutes), rinse off well and then put them in the dishwasher just to make sure all of the product has been removed from the dishes. I like the results and would recommend. The product does come with a warning because it is an eye and skin irritant. Be sure to read label before use.

If you follow the instructions exactly, one coating seems to get rid of 80% of the marks. For those dishes that it didn’t completely clean up the first time, a second coating finished the job. We have the Pfaltzgraff Winterberry set and this made them look like new after the second Christmas season of use. Only gave four stars because I noticed it has a best-if-used-by date only six months after my purchase date. It’s a big bottle, and sort of expensive, so I wish I could buy it in smaller quantities since it’s shelf life is so short. I only use it one time a year!

I followed the directions and it worked great. Very expensive. Only problem is that as soon as you use a metal eating utensil on the plate it is marked up again. Not sure if there is anything to coat the plate and protect it so you do not to clean so often.

I could not be more disappointed in this product and in the Pfaltzgraff company. I have been a life-long Pfaltzgraff aficionado and have invested in this company. I used the Pfaltzgraff cleaner on my full set of Pfaltzgraff Heritage dishes and followed the instructions carefully. When I rinsed the cleaner off my dishes, I noticed that the glaze was gone! I called and emailed Pfaltzgraff, and they told me that, while they were sorry, they could only offer me a 30% replacement discount. They also said that they could not refund me the cost of the cleaner. I was horrified at the fact that I had not only lost my precious dishes and over $1000, as they were no longer food safe, but also the $25 that the cleaner cost me. I had to throw all of my dishes out, which was painful for me. I cannot believe that they would not stand behind their product or their customers. Please, save yourself the trouble and your valuable dishes, and do not buy this cleaner.

Did not remove utensil Mark's from stoneware

This product is amazing. The attached pictures are the before & after. I rubbed the product on with a paper towel. Let it sit for 15 minutes then washed it off. That's it! (I also ran the dishes through my dishwasher afterwards just for good measure.) I did find that a generous application worked better than the ones where I applied it sparingly. I would highly recommend this product however the label does say it is not for use with fine china.
