Give versatility in different light environments under water
My wife dives quite a bit and needed different light approaches. These work very well for that process

For AUTHENTIC GoPro deep water housings. Not for cheap knock-off housings.
Ignore the 1-star ratings that state the lenses don't fit. They are using cheap knock-off housings, which the product description literally tells you they won't fit.Using on my GoPro HERO 10 Black and authentic GoPro deep water housing. Great fit and great price. These lenses are pretty solid. They are designed for an AUTHENTIC GoPro brand-name deep water housing. If you are using a cheap knock-off housing (as shown in all the 1-star ratings) then the lenses likely won't fit. The product pictures states "Don't fit for third party housings." That means they are designed to fit very well and very snug on OEM GoPro name-brand housings only. You can tell which reviews are using a GP name-brand housing by looking for the 8 hex bolts that hold the GLASS front lens cover to the housing body. The cheap knock-off housings use plastic front lens and glue and are sized differently. The lenses fit very snug. You have to line the lens up squarely with the housing and push firmly. That's a good thing. Once it's on, it won't easily pop off or dislodge. When you're diving, there are a LOT of forces on you and your equipment. You don't want a lens cover to easily dislodge or get askew when you only have two seconds to capture that great photo before a swell moves you. You also don't want a lens cover that easily pops off if you are using a BCD or thigh pocket to store your camera during a dive.As for those who knocked the ratings because it's too hard to swap lenses underwater: plan your dive and dive your plan! There should never be a need to swap filters (of this type) underwater. You should know before you enter the water whether you will be diving shallow (< 5m), or if you're expecting to dive deeper (> 5m). Choose the filter that accommodates the water type and depth before you "get wet."Snorkeling or free diving in saltwater - light red filter.SCUBA diving in saltwater - dark red filter.Fresh water at any depth - magenta filter.Use simple post-processing photo adjustments to account for small variations in white balance. Your photos will turn out great.

Does not fit GoPro 9
It’s says it fits 9 on the box but it’s too big. Had to send it back

Perfect!
I use the most red filter for scuba diving and my videos and photos had better quality. It comes with some smalls strings so you can attach it to the housing of the go pro, totally a plus, in water activities you never know when you gonna lose things.I like that the box tell you, for what depth or type of water you can use the filters, also brings a little bag where you can store the filters, but honestly I use it to put my go pro with the filter in the little bag so I'm not worry to scratch my filter/go pro.

They do fit the GoPro 8 original case
They do fit the GoPro 8 original case, but requires A LOT of pressure to fit in, which somehow makes sense, otherwise will get loose too easy. However, by needing such high amount of pressure to fit in, makes very hard to switch lenses while deep diving, so may not be really usable for what I need it for. Hope they have a video or better installation instructions.

Perfect fit
I have a gopro 8 with the waterproof case. I'm not sure why people say the filters don't fit. They ABSOLUTELY fit perfectly on the case. They snap on securely. They won't fit on the gopro without the waterproof case however. I haven't used them diving yet, which is the reason I bought them. But they appear to be of pretty good quality. They come with a small carrying pouch to keep them somewhat protected.
