3-prong heavy all-metal “toggle on / off” (not “hold to maintain power”) style foot pedal switch.
Heavy duty shop-style “press on / press off” switch (as opposed to a “momentary” on switch - which requires you to hold your foot down to keep it on).Had a reverse osmosis water system put in that required electricity to run non-stop but also have a garbage disposal that would otherwise have to be on 100% of the time.Instead of spending a bunch of money on an electrician, I instead decided to see if I could hook up a switch like this where I could use a footpedal to turn the electricity to the garbage disposal on and off as needed without having to worry about cutting off electricity constantly needed to run the RO system. This works like a charm. Heavy duty enough to keep from scooting under the sink without having to be permanently mounted, easy enough to press that it’s no effort to do so.And the prong opening is at the plug rather than the pedal like some other models, so I don’t have to worry about a small leak causing an electrical shock. This thing is great. If you need to plug in something via a heavy duty 3-prong (as opposed to the cheap Christmas Tree light plastic switches with only 2 prongs) that is all metal, heavy, and reliable, this is the model you want.

Robust high quality on off foot switch.
I looked quite awhile for a product like this. I have been looking for a high quality on off switch to turn on a daily used HEPA filter/fan that sits on the floor, so I wouldn’t have to bend over and twist switch every time I turn it on or off. This switch works perfectly for that. It is admittedly overbuilt for this application, but I appreciate it’s solid quality construction. It makes me happy to use it daily. I can also see it being useful during Christmas season for tuning in and off Christmas tree lights, rather than the cheap ubiquitous ones made for that purpose.

Great for stopping vampire electronics.
Heavy duty. I put one of these in series with entertainment centers and other vampire electricity hogs in my home. Very easy toggle switch to cut everything off and on. Bye bye vampire power drain.

Excellent switch
This is a solid, top-quality switch. I have bought two of this company's switches and both are excellent. This model is the heavier of the two and a little more expensive, but would be worth the price if you need a rugged, long-lasting foot switch. I highly recommend it!

Perfect, heavy-duty switch
I use this with a shop-vac that I need to turn in and off regularly. This is actually a fairly pricy solution for this purpose, but it is extraordinarily well-made and works perfectly.

Tappy tappy make your foot happy.
This thing is awesome. I use it to turn on/ off my dust collector. Unlike using an isocket or something like that, I can plug my saw, planer, router into one plug socket while plugging my dust collector into another socket on a completely different breaker. No more blown breakers.
