I purchased the FeliWay Cat Pheromone Diffuser to help with my cat's overgrooming issues that I attribute most to anxiety. So far, it seems to be working. I read some negative reviews about this product on Amazon (the oil dripping out of the diffuser, or the diffuser itself actually melting) but so far, so good. I don't think this is the big solution to overgrooming, however, with a cat body recovery suit, it seems to be helping tremendously. There isn't a noticeable owner to humans, only the cat. My cat does seem much less anxious overall, and that's helpful with the issue I purchased it for. It is a bit expensive to buy the refills - which are due every month or a few days earlier, according to some reviews. You are instructed to replace the diffuser itself every 6 months. So, I'd recommend making a note of when you install the diffuser and attach the refills to hopefully prevent some of the issues that were reported.

It will also treat "urine marking," another symptom my kitty was exhibiting, as she would spray against the wall instead of urinating into the litter, a nasty habit that required a lot of cleaning up and that "Comfort Zone" has cured.Completely odorless, the feline facial pheromone that is the active ingredient does not affect humans, except to improve their lives by making their fur friends happier.I will be using refills every month, and making sure I never run out of this amazing product.

My inside outside cat had a bad experience with a neighbor and lost a limb. He became an inside kitty. He was not happy with my decision to keep him inside before and after his surgery. Asked my vet what to get to help calm him and ease his anxiety, this was recommended. She told me they use the spray when cats are brought in for nail trimming.Purchased in Aug.700 square feet per plug in. So I bought multiple and plugged in throught the house. He stopped spraying on everything and became my loving kitty again. Only took about 2 days to begin to work.I used this for about 2.5 months. He is back to his normal happy self permanently now. No spraying, no scratching up the furniture, no chasing me through the house to get outside. It was a good product for us, hope it works for you.I also tried some "soothing/calming collars" those are trash and didn't work at all.

I moved recently and I bought this to help my cat's adjustment to a new place. I also got it because my cat is an anxious licker and I read that it might help with that also. I honestly haven't noticed any difference with them. She still licks a lot. They didn't have a very hard time adjusting so it may have helped with that? But I couldn't give a definitive answer on that since they aren't usually phased by moving, I just tried since it was a bigger move this time and I didn't want any issues just in case. The reviews about the product's safety are a bit ridiculous. I haven't had any fires or melting because I used the product correctly lol (You're not supposed to put it in upside down. Most of the reviews about melting shows that they put it facing the floor which is why they're having that issue.) I did notice it does get quite hot though. I'm not super worried as I haven't noticed any melting/smoking or fire though so as long as you plug it in right side up, you'll be fine. For the price, I'm a little disappointed it didn't help with my cats anxiety but I might give it another month and see if anything changes? I think it is a bit expensive for the chance of it not working. Honestly, unless you're having severe issues with your cats fighting or any anxiety, I wouldn't buy this. If you do though, don't worry about fires. As long as you use it right, you'll be fine. Just know that it will be hit or miss with your cats.

Don't see the results I was looking for yet. But I'll be patient and I hope my cat will. Does not seem to have a smell that humans would object to.

My adopted kitten became aggressive and anxious. Our Vet suggested to try pheromones diffuser. I've got one and stopped to use in 2 weeks: it doesn't work.There is no smell detected by humans, which was expected but cat's behavior was not improving. Waste of money.
