RF Coax Crimp Tool for LMR-600 Ratchet Mechanism Hex Cavity

I have a collection acquired over the years of different crimp tools. Mainly intended for specific use/product. Never the right one when I need it for the job at hand. So I began looking around at the available crimp tools with replaceable crimp heads. Of course, they range in price from cheap (junk) to super quality intended for people who's life is crimping connectors at a (to me) unaffordable price for something that doesn't get used often, but when it does, I want a good result. These look like a good compromise. Well constructed, they are not going to deform over the course of a few crimping sessions. The crimp jaws appear to be made in China, but unlike many of the cheaper ones, they do align correctly and the crimp holes are well formed. I am happy with this purchase.

Easy to work with

Pretty hard to reach locked position. Requires hand strength.

Make east work on tough outer sheathing on cabling of various sizes. High quality tool.

I use these for crimping SMA RG174 coax connectors, and RG58 BNC connectors for both the outer ferrule and for the center pin. It is so much easier than trying to solder the center pin.

What a deal! I only do a few connectors a month if that and this crimper works consistently every time. It is a bargain and allows professional results.
