Patches are nice. It took a while to ship, but arrived when it was promised.

I bought this made in China leather "biker" vest as part of my Haloween costume for an event this year. It seems well presented with a number of motorcycle themed patches, it is well made, lined with an adjustible mid section and is therefore well suited for my costume. As such; I probably will only wear it once. It arrived with a very, very pungent smell of tanned leather which lead me along with a strong suggestion from my wife to seek out a remedy for this overwhelming odor. The odor is why I did not give it 5 stars. Per directions I gathered using A I, the vest was banished to an shed outdoors where it now hangs. Even though the odor is still lingering in my den, I have more than a month before using it so hopefully some of the odor will be gone by then. The first phase of the recommended odor removal process is to hang it in a place to air out that being the outdoor shed. Other phases can include placing baking soda near the vest, then placing coffee nearby and finally an indirect light misting with vinegar. I hope the suggestions work since I don't think I can stand the present smell for the length of the party.

I love it, it was perfect done love all the tags. I wish it they had a bigger size because the large was a little tight. Definetly recommend.

The only thing we changed were the strings on the side. They were a plastic cable, and we bought a suede string to look more realistic. The patches were perfect! My husband was impressed. He seen the tag MSRP $129.00 and asked me what I paid it was only 30 bucks! Thank you for offering the item we needed. The shipping was strange, it came in a clear Bag that wasn’t sealed, but UPS delivered and it made it just fine! Thank you!

This should not be labelled Motorcycle vest because it's dangerous riding with this at highway speed. Not sure what's wrong with this stuff, why did I get two of them from different vendors with the same awful moldy smell. Seems the entire batch is wasted. (Update) Was able to get rid the smell by robbing all inside and out with baking powder (sodium carbonate). Took 3 weeks of baking powder and direct sun exposure to get rid of the smell. Opened and flapped around at legal speed 70 MPH on highway, made the ride unstable and dangerous, lost everything that was in the pockets and had to exit the highway to snap back the buttons. That's a very dangerous situation when a jacket is ripped off from you but still hanging from the shoulders at high speed. Imagine if I was riding 100 MPH.... I think we should seriously consider a law suit against the vender.

This vest is perfect for Halloween or if you want to look badass on the weekend around anyone other than real bikers. The quality is really nice and is a great buy for the money. On the other hand it smells like embalming fluid and almost has to be thrown out after you wear it because the stench is so bad. I tried to put it in a little used closet to quarantine it from the rest of my clothes. Now my whole closet smells terrible and i cant get the smell out of my other coats. Maybe put it in a giant ziplock when your done but definitely don't let this beast near anything you plan on wearing anytime soon.

I read the other reviews. And I have read the other reviews that said it. I have bought other things Ann's sent them back bc of the smell. This hanging in the garage for a few days to air out. I might even wash it and set it out to dry. So when you read that it smells... It really does.
