The format isn't the same as other Amarchitrakatha books. It's harder for kids who are unfamiliar with the characters to follow with the new format. The illustrations are good, and the story is the best there is :)

Good for children
Anant Pai's Amar Chitra katha series do not need any introduction, it is such a popular series for young readers. The great epics of India "Ramayana" illustrated in this graphics story. I wish, it could be little bigger in content.

Not quite what was expected.
The books are in a good condition, but they were not what i had expected for the price that we paid 5.99$. The book is barely 30 pages in size.

I liked this book. It interesting because I know why the Hindu religion celebrates Diwali a bit but I didn't know exactly why. I would recommend this book to people interested in the Hindu religion, people starting to be a Hindu or simply people interested in why Hindus celebrate Diwali.

An excellent read for all ages!
I could relive my childhood by reading this book to my 3.5 year old boy. He is so glued to the book's illustrations and of course to the epic story. There isn't any age group per say attached to this book. It is that wonderful. Please go ahead and buy it as it is worth everything.. especially the price that I could buy it for.. 43 rupees with home delivery. Even it's MRP is very much affordable.Lastly, I would like to thank Amazon for respecting my order and request to deliver it as soon as possible. The price (43 rupees) was never a concern with them and i received my book just 2 days after ordering. Can't thank you enough Amazon. You are truly the best!
