It took just second to install and it’s a solid product. Using everyday. Battery : after 2 weeks of using 90% still on. So far amazing product

The media could not be loaded. Very straightforward install, connects to the phone via Bluetooth very quickly, was disappointing that it wasn't clear that the switch bot hub was required to make it work with Alexa as I could have purchased both items at the same time which would have made the install quickerIt's not exactly quiet when it opens and closes but it's not too badIt's quite expensive for what it is but I managed to change my curtains and curtain track to make it work with one switchbot curtainConnection to the hub was easy, it took a few attempts to connect to the cloud but worked after 10 minutes and was then easy to connect to Alexa

I have been using this for a year now and I'm really pleased with it.I was actually surprised it would work as my curtain is heavy but it does work every day.The battery life is also surprising good.

I bought this product for use on an IKEA U track curtain rail. Despite the review I found saying it didn't fit, it does.That said, it's not perfect. Sometimes the roller loses grip and doesn't fully close or fully open. This is frustrating, but it doesn't appear to affect the next open or close.I had a swish mechanical system before this, that isn't made anymore. It worked fine for years. Then the motor went.The noise of this system is about the same as that i.e. acceptable but you can hear it. If you are watching a TV programme and the curtain closes it startles you.The fitting and instructions are very simple.Overall it does the job I need.

So disappointed as I was really looking forward to getting this after having seen good reviews on Youtube for the product. Out of the box it looked great and I was excited to get it on the rail and have a go. Now to be fair to Switchbot, the product is good quality and a great idea but just did not have the strength to move my heavy lined curtains.I have 3 curtain rails that I could use this on, two that have draw strings on either side (one per curtain) and one that has a single draw string that opens both curtains. I only bought one Switchbot as a test because I did have my doubts about how it would perform and, despite trying it one all 3 of the rails, the best it could do was painfully haul one of the curtains back a few inches.I think what I need is a Switchbot that sits between my drawstrings and actually moves the strings but the systems that do this on the market at the moment do not look so great and don't have the great design features that the Switchbot does (like the battery life or the solar charge panel option).Even though this is a one star review from me, I'm sure if your curtains are not so heavy and thick you will probably get a great result because the product is pretty much as good as it can be, being simple to fit and configure. Had my curtains not got in the way it would have been a 5 star review, but for now, it's curtains for my Switchbot adventure.

I didn't realize these were still made or sold, but they're U-Rails 1, not 2.That means the wheels aren't changeable, so if you rails aren't exactly that specific size you're stuck.Also since they have batteries they're basically impossible to ship back from Ireland, no carrier will accept them to the UK, so I'm stuck with them. I had to go look for compatible rails which was no easy task, but I finally found one in B&Q, with that they work well. Just know what you're buying I guess, I wish they made it clearer that these are _not_ the new 2 model.

I bought two of thise curtain bots. I think it will be nice if it would work with the IKEA curtain track rail "VIDGA". On the first view it looks like it would but it doesn't.I am in connection with the support. They are kind and helpful. Now they will send me new hooks. I hope, I will get them until my return date (amazon). Otherwise I need to send them back to amazon.I will update this review as soon as I get the new hooks that should be fit for purpose with the IKEA curtain track rail "VIDGA".
