This shampoo and conditioner is just like he said, health food store shampoo meets salon shampoo. Made my hair super soft, clean, shiny, bouncy and looked just as nice the next morning. I just colored my hair at the salon and used this shampoo a few days later, twice already and the color is just as rich as it was before. The apple scent is very soft and not cloying at all and rinses quickly. The conditioner I applied mids to ends and clipped it up for a few minutes and it detangled my hair and rinsed easily. It is beneficial if you shampoo your hair in sections with a little bit at a time, and use your fingertips, don't just plop the shampoo in your palm and then on top of your hair. I am happy I found this set as I was looking for a healthier alternative and tried a variety of luxury shampoos and this was the best yet.

This is the BEST shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. I’m in my late 50’s and have long hair that is straight, fine and not color treated. I have been using this shampoo & conditioner for four months, about twice a week.Shampoo: It only takes about a half tablespoon of shampoo for me to thoroughly wash my hair. It lathers nicely and rinses well. Don’t expect the goo-gobs of suds as with traditional shampoos. The smell is wonderful, as if I stepped into an apple orchard at harvest time. Crisp and clean! Not vinegary or overpowering at all.Conditioner: I use about a tablespoon of the conditioner (twice the amount of shampoo). It has an even lighter fragrance than the shampoo. It’s not heavy or oily feeling. Having long, straight, fine hair; I find it best to not scrub it into my hair as with shampooing. I just gently work it through my hair by finger combing it. I let it set while I continue showering, then rinse by again finger-combing straight down. Squeeze out the water, wrap in a towel for a few minutes, and then gently comb out with a detangling comb (always working from ends upwards to scalp). Combing out only takes me a couple minutes.Afterwards I have clean, fresh hair. No heavy, greasy feeling. No heavy fragrances. The light apple scent dissipates quickly. I really like using this product not only because it works, but it also because it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals. I love these products! I have oily baby fine hair and this shampoo and conditioner work very well. I don't get oily so fast and my hair is clean and light. Works well.

This is probably the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used.I often have to use Nizoral shampoo along with my regular shampoo and conditioner, because I get little plaques on my scalp that itch and then flake off and bleed when I itch them. I didn't have to use that extra shampoo AT ALL with this shampoo and conditioner.I also noticed that I had less fall out while using this than any other shampoo/conditioner I've tried before. The shampoo is light and conditioner is light too, so it doesn't weigh down my hair and make it limp. I think this would be perfect for a person with fine hair and/or a sensitive scalp.I don't think it was as moisturizing as it could have been. My hair didn't feel super soft after shampooing and conditioning and there were lots of tangles during the brush out after my showers, but the scent is light and refreshing and I think I'm willing to trade soft and sleek wet hair for no sores on my scalp and minimal fall out.

Shampoo smells good but leaves my hair feeling dry. I do not like the smell of the conditioner. It smells strange, like honey, and leaves my hair feeling a little heavy and greasy.

The conditioner is amazing. I've never had a product that untangled my wet hair this well. You don't need much of it to work, and it's pretty light.The shampoo is just okay, nothing unusual. But I'm not really a fan of how both products smell. It starts with a light apple fragrance, but when you continue to rub it in the shampoo smells coconutty, and the conditioner has a very floral scent.

I used to make and sell my own natural, cruelty free shampoo. I gave up the side biz and struggled to find something that held my standards. This shampoo is by far the closest to the ingredients I used, and has the same cleansing but non-stripping function.I hope they never stop making it, and I will pay all the tariffs to get my hands on it.
