Works great
I had to replace my quarter panel window. I needed a good strong bond to glue my window on and prevent leaks. I honestly have never installed a window in my life, but I didn’t have the money to get it done. After watching videos and reading reviews I decided to give it a try. I cut out most of the old urethane from the vehicle with a blade. I cleaned and primed both mating surfaces with the supplied primer. A V shaped notch was cut into the nozzle of the urethane tip. I applied the product onto the car with a heavy duty caulk gun because, the regular gun I tried to use, wasn’t strong enough. The window was put in place firmly and held in with lots of blue painters tape. I used lots of tape because I didn’t want the window to move out of position. I took the tape off a day later. It’s been one year so far and I’m completely happy with this product. I have no leaks and no problem with my window. I would buy this again.

Best price, phenomenal product with great tech support
Used on a rear sliding window in a custom vehicle. Slider has a powder coated frame that I sanded down with 80 grit to bare metal and installed in a fiberglass surround. Was able to email and speak to a specialist that calls on body shops and has tons of experience to share on with how this product works with aluminum. Only paid $30 for 2 tubes and the primer which is far less expensive than other brands. Used one tube on the surround and that was too much. Very viscous product (first window install) so although I got the notching of the tube correct I put in too much material that made it difficult to clamp and then required excess trimming. End result is that the slider is in solid, doesn't leak and drains properly. Very pleased and tested a bunch of other materials (raw steel, polycarbonate, aluminum all to fiberglass) and they all adhere very well if primed with Dupont primer. So far this product looks like it will bond almost anything if prepped right. Plan to use this as my panel bonding product for building the rest of the vehicle.

I didn't know it came with primer too!
Fixed my window in June of 2023 and it's still fixed! I bought a tube of primer separately because I didn't know this came with primer. But reading comprehension was never by best subject. I had a lot of waste because I was only doing one track for my sliding back window and not a whole windscreen. Still a lot cheaper than the $700 the glass replacement guys wanted to charge!

The good stuff
If you know anything about glass work then you know Betaseal products are good stuff. Good products, good price, and fast shipping. It was refreshing to see that the exp date was not coming up anytime soon on these tubes which tells me this wasn't just a batch that had been sitting around for months on end. ;I'm always hesitant buying from third party sellers on Amazon but won't hesitate to buy from them again.

Works well
Works really well. Warm up the tube if you are using an 18:1 gun. Electric gun works so much better.

Great windshield adhesive
Product was well packed and arrived promptly. Good expiration dates (May 2025). Placed adhesive tube in the sun for about an hour and was able to dispense easily using manual caulk gun with 18:1 thrust ratio. Completely satisfied with results

The Correct Material to Install Automotive Windows
This is a quality sealant and the correct primer for installing or replacing a automotive window. Get the right caulking gun first. You won't be able to dispense this with the standard gun from your home store. When you cut the tip, you want to put a slot up the side about an inch, so you end up with a vertical tower of sealant. Watch some videos online of the proper way to do it. With the right caulking gun, proper prep of the area (this comes with the primer you need) and you can have a perfect window install.
