Solid cotton and linen, so can take a hot iron
Many of the other tailor's hams are made with part polyester fabric, so one cannot use a hot iron on them. This set is cotton and linen, and works well with a hot iron. The tubular one is slightly askew, as if it were not sewn or the stuffing eased into the tube properly. It still mostly works. The main thing is the linen cotton aspect which is very helpful.

Pressing hams
The hams are different sizes and they work very well the only Improvement I could see is if they were a little firmer. That would really help when you are pressing heavier materials. Other than that they are an appropriate size and they do work well for the lighter materials.

Bad
Just no. This is not a good product. It’s way too soft for pressing. The stuffing inside makes it lumpy too. Overall dissatisfied and will be returning

A shirtmaker taught me to iron correctly 40 years ago, and I've been doing it therapeutically ever since, usually while watching TV. I'd never owned these two particular tools until recently, but they have helped me take my results up a notch. I have a clapper, too, but don't use it much because hard-creased trousers are pretty dweeby.

Makes ironing shoulders a breeze!
To make the perfect curve of a mask or shoulder seam everyone must have this. It takes the stress out of having to rearrange fabric to get close to the seam. Comes as a 2 pack of size and shape. High quality, long lasting. Reputable seller.

Somewhat disappointing
I have had tailor's hams before - mostly inherited from my grandfather who was a tailor. They are supposed to be very firm, so that pressing an iron against them is similar to using a padded ironing board. These seem only half filled, with not even enough firmness to hold their proper shape. They may still be usable, but not what was expected.

Made my life so much easier
Not only did the set help me iron darts, sleeves, and collars more easily, the large ham is also really good to pin my work to when I'm doing a little hand stitching to baste or finish seams. It was also useful when I needed to braid cords- I made a beaded braided headband and the large ham was a good size to pin my work and keep it in my lap while I worked.
