I’ve been using this NanoSteamer for over nine months, and it has truly become one of my favorite beauty tools. It’s a big part of my Sunday skincare routine – I love using the steam before applying my creams, serums, and masks. Great operation! Some might think this unit does not put out much steam. They would be very wrong. It puts out plenty! It is a much finer mist than you get from boiling water on the stove so it doesn’t show up as much but it is there and gets into your pores easily. The steam rises at least 3 feet high. Put your face about 2 feet higher than the unit and slowly lower into the mist so you don’t get too hot. I have not used the towel heat option or the humidifier setting. It has an automatic cut off when the water level gets too low. Use only distilled water or you might eventually have trouble keeping its fine mist working.

Summary: I was hesitant but so glad I bought this. I’ve been trying to be very mindful of my skin as I approach 50. I’ve noticed large pores and some blackheads on the sides of my nose. This facial steamer puts out quite a punch! The skin care tools provided with it are helpful for extractions too. The steam does get quite hot, but of course, you can get as close or as far from it as you need. The first time I used it, I immediately put on a Dead Sea Pore Refining mask afterwards. The steam opens the pores, so I figured that would be a good way for the mask to really get into the problem areas. The second time, I used my cleanser, then toner, then serum immediately after. It’s important to remember that the steam will open up the pores, so you can take advantage of that by applying a good cleanser or mask after use. While I bought this for actual skin care treatment, I will say that I find it so relaxing to use, so it can definitely be used if you just want to unwind from a long day. Added bonus - you’d be treating your skin at the same time! Color: not really any kind of a deal breaker for me. I do like that you can choose one of a few colors, but I had actually forgotten about that until writing this review anyway. If color matters to you, then just know you can choose yours! Value for money: this is WELL worth the cost. Durability: I haven’t had this long, so I can’t really comment on durability but it does seem to be high quality. Leakage: Be careful when transporting the steamer from one place to another while the reservoir has water in it. It will drip out if tilted. But I wouldn’t call this leakage. When set in place, whether being used or not, there hasn’t been any leakage at all yet.

I absolutely love it, it made my skin, feel very soft, did not struggle with water, leakage, or portability. I have not tried the tower warmer, but I’m using the steamer for my skin care routine.

Love. So easy to use , assembly etc. When the water tank goes down (even when I have it steaming) I pull it out quickly and refill and place back in it doesn’t affect it while running. Decent steam for what it is. I add a drop of lavender oil to the water holder and it’s perfect for an at home spa experience. Does the job, hydrates and declogs my skin and allows for better mask penetration and I follow up with removing cleansers/masks with the cotton single use face towels and it grabs the loosened dirt and oil from my pores perfectly. Use once every 10 days. Akin is glowy and isn’t costing me $130 for a facial so often now.
