Good quality and very realistic play food. My granddaughter loved it!

This line of play food is truly outstanding! It is made of a thick, rubbery plastic that feels substantial in your hand. Even the smaller pieces are chunky enough for babies and toddlers. I am very impressed with the quality and realistic look. There is a fun variety to choose from and plenty of pieces to allow for multiple children to play together. The baskets are good quality with rubberized handles and are great for storing the food and for pretend shopping. This set has replaced the cheaper play food we had previously and I would buy this brand again, should we ever want to purchase additional items.

Bought this set of three baskets “breakfast “ “lunch” and “dinner” for my child for Christmas. I won’t lie I thought $50 was a bit high on price but when I got them I can clearly see why! They are super durable & will last a Long time! Great quality fake food! Each basket comes with a description of what’s in basket, basically a list of each item of food. You won’t be disappointed this is stuff that will last , not get tore up a couple months after buying. The quality & craftsman ship of these little foods is amazing they are so cute. BUY BUY BUY! Your kid will love these. Super realistic.

I did a ton of research to find the best play food and whoa it’s been exhausting! Felt like I needed to take time to write this review for moms like me that are spending wayyyyyyy too much time trying to find decent toys for their babies! Lol anyway, I kept coming back to this brand because I liked how they looked in pictures and there were so many positive reviews. What kept me on the fence so long were the negative reviews that complained about strong smell. Well I’m here to tell you there’s NO SMELL at all!!! I don’t know where people are getting that from and I’m super annoyed that I almost didn’t buy these because of those reviews! This play food is bomb.com and I will definitely be buying more in the future! Love the feel and size; perfect for little toddler hands. Definitely the quality I was looking for! Anyway look no further, Mommas! I highly recommend!

These Learning Resources food baskets are awesome! I love the texture of the food as well as the realistic look it offers. My son loves to put the different foods on his grill or bring us cereal or a smoothie to eat. He has quickly learned the names of the foods and I think that is partly because it does look so much like the real food he eats. The quality is great, very durable. Also, the food comes divided in the baskets as shown in the pictures which helps provide storage and organization. Since the baskets come with such a variety of foods- we also use these to get our little guy to sort (fruits, breads, colors, etc.) which he enjoys!

This is far and away the best play food we’ve been able to find. This particular collection is awesome because it’s a great variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods. The little grocery baskets - while much smaller than expected - are a fun bonus! Our son absolutely loves these foods and I highly recommend them! They’re so realistic looking, high quality, and easy to clean. One quick note, as others have said, there is an odor when it’s first opened. I have a highly sensitive sense of smell and was nervous, however I wiped everything down with clorox wipes and set them out overnight and they had absolutely no odor by the morning. So for us, the odor wasn’t an issue. I really recommend this brand’s play food, and especially this set in particular!

Preschool teacher here! Generally I really like Learning Resources products and I have bought many over the years. So when I purchased a play kitchen set for my children/new home daycare and I was looking for food to place in the kitchen I knew I wanted to try this set. I have bought play food for my classroom before. the sets that come with a million pieces tend to be cheap and flimsy, not lasting long. the wooden sets, like Melissa and Doug, you’d think would last a long time, but kids are rough and the paint and edges wear away looking junky after a while. They certainly last longer than others, but I also don’t feel like they are overly usable when pretending to cook or serve food. This set seems very usable and allows children to be creative while also making believe in a more “real” way. I like the variety of foods and the presentation as well. I like the already ‘full’ cups of milk and juice. I like the bowls of cereal and soup. But there are also foods that have individual components for building things like a sandwich or a salad or a hamburger. It makes this set very flexible for creativity. My concern, and hence only 4 star rating, is the longevity of some of the pieces and the ability to effectively clean some of the items. There are several fruits or vegetables that are hollow and relatively squishy; they have air holes, sort of like a bath toy would. I am afraid that when cleaning these pieces water will enter the hole and won’t come out. Equally likely if a small child puts it in their mouth saliva could enter the hole, which is worse. I am contemplating sealing the holes, but I am also afraid that will make them more prone to breakage. These are not inexpensive toys and I would like to get as much longevity out of them as possible. Overall, I am very pleased with this food set. I will update after I clean the aforementioned pieces.

I bought this for my daughters second birthday and I'm pretty impressed. The quality seems much sturdier than the other plastic food out there and it looks so realistic! My daughter is always trying to get the cereal out of the bowl bc it looks real! It's a rubber like material that doesn't get squished when little mouths try to chomp on it. Would purchase again. We've only had it for a week so I can't say much on durability but it looks built to last a long time. I also like that it has more fresh foods like baked potato, chicken, yogurt, and steak rather than pizza/hot dogs like other brands.

Los niños no son cuisadosos de Media , la comida de madera es muy bonita si la tienes de exposicion y no se usa, sale Cara y ademas SE daña en muy corto tiempo, vi Este set y otro con cestos de fruta y verdura misma marca y no lo pense. Estaba harta de ver como mi Hijos de 3 y 4 años tiraban la comida haciendo tanto ruido y viendo el deterioro qué habia qué tirarlos en muy corto tiempo porque daban pena. Harta de comprar de Madera de diversas marcas muy conocidas me decante por esta marca, me encanta y a ellos mas. Mi hijo de 3 años juega hasta a la Guerra de comida con estas jaja y a mi ya me da igual. Mi hija juega mucho mas qué con Los de Madera, Creo q no jugaba por no oirme jaja y porque son mas realistas. Es muy variada la comida ,y son cosas qué estan en su dia a dia. Son muy Caras lo se( me lo.pense mucho) pero tienes de todo, no necesitas mas comida, hay sandwich, ensalada, cereales, sopa, algunas frutas y verduras, bebidas, snacks, postre Como helado y yogurt ...en fin si te pones a comprar todo eso de Madera la Cosa no se ve tan Cara. ASI es Como lo vi claro que era la compra perfecta. Tienen UN tamaño Bueno para meterlos en ollitas de juguete, encontrarlos por el suelo y qué no entren debajo de sofa con Tanta facilidad. En fin me encanto! Si te ayude por favor animame a seguir opinando ;)

These are the best play food I have ever seen! So realistic, solid but softish texture. I recommend new sprouts play food as definitely worth the price and most realistic especially if your buying for a toddler!!

Der Preis ist ja doch etwas heftiger, allerdings bekommt man auch wirklich ein wertiges Spielzeug und nicht billigen Schrott mit Plastik-kanten. Hier fühlen sich die, wirklich zahlreichen, Einzelteile gut an (weich aber bissfest - nichts wird so schnell kaputt, mein Sohn hat es natürlich versucht) und stinken nicht. Meine Kinder (5J und 2J) lieben Rollenspiele und natürlich wird, obwohl sie schlechte Esser sind, jedesmal Picknick, bzw. Essen generell gespielt. wobei meine Große zunächst unseren Kleinen dazu verdonnert hat mitzuspielen und jetzt liebt er es auch. Bei diesem Set sind die Lebensmittel wirklich erkennbar und detailliert - selbst unser Kleiner kann echtes Essen der jeweiligen Spielkopie zuordnen. Man kann sich ein Brot belegen, die Getränke schauen toll aus, mit den Körben eine tolle Erweiterung für unseren Kaufladen - es wird eingekaut und dann gibt es gleich Essen :-) Klare Kaufempfehlung. Das Set wird bei uns regelmäßig bespielt. Neben dem gemeinsamen Spielen wird in jeden Fall der Wortschatz gesteigert besonders wenn man als Erwachsener mit spielt. Lieferung war top. Alles in allem klares Ja.
