I needed a practical bag for a 10 day journey in Thailand that involved motorcycles, trains, cars, vans, and planes. Expecting rain so wanted weather resistance, I also wanted portability so I can jump from plane to train, then transfer to bikes. Everyday in a different destination. I read the reviews and made the purchase. When I first got it, I was convinced it was just too small. It appeared well made, the straps were comfortable, but it just didn't look much bigger than an over-night duffel. Before returning it, I decided to give it a try and pack. So glad I did. After opening the expansion zippers, it swallowed everything. I carried it through 4 airports, 2 trains, and 6 days of riding, and the bag performed perfectly and has no damage to report. The backpack straps and hip belt fold neatly out of place and worked really well on my back as well as checked-in bag. Very sturdy carry handles all around. Overall, it carried the following items every day: - 8 T-shirts - 2 button down shirts - 2 hoodies - 2 jeans - 2 riding jeans with pads - riding boots - pair of sneakers and pair of flip-flops - 16 socks and 12 underwear - 2 cargo shorts and 1 swim trunk - toiletry bag The pictures attached are of it fully loaded with all the items listed above.
